if there was one thing in the world that eli didn’t mind, it was dogs. particularly big dogs, and he didn’t even mind being mauled by them. if he had to choose a way to go out, being smothered by a big fluff ball like this one was definitely the preference. he just had to laugh when the dog was on top of him. he was immediately in play mode and gave the dog plenty of attention. “oh, i’m fine,” eli laughed, “oh, he is fantastic, what’s his name?”

     despite being a huge animal lover ( and more specifically dog lover ), kiwoo knew that not everyone was like that. it didn’t mean he understood it very well, though. he had a few people argue with him because of kratos, so it made him try to be extra careful when he was out with the dog.  “ his name is kratos. ”  he answered.

“ oh no, not at all !  it’s totally fine, my dude. ” alexander’s eyes were still focused on the panting pup as the words came from his mouth.  “ i totally get it. had a dog back home who would get so  excited when anyone would come near. its just what they do, yeah. ” his attention being turned from the dog to the human in front of him, “ mind if i pet him ?  ”

     he offered a smile to the other, running his hands through kratos to try and get him to calm down.  “ i might spoil him a bit too much. he loves being caressed and getting strangers to become his friends even if it means using his force, which isn’t always great. ”  kiwoo spoke, with a small laugh following.  “ oh, by all means! but expect him to get attached and demand more. ”

following the initial shock of having a huge dog jump up at her ( which came accompanied by a loud exclamation of, “ay, joder!” ) a smile parted florencia’s lips, as she crouched down to pet the animal, who clearly welcomed the attention. as the owner came following apologetically, laughter fell from her mouth. “no, no, it’s fine. he’s a beautiful boy. aren’t you?” her voice turned immediately childish once she referred to the dog, scratching behind his ears as he attempted to lick the palm of her hand. “what’s his name?” 

     kiwoo was thankful, to say the least, that his dog hadn’t hurt the other. he knew just how excited kratos could get and the dog did cause him a few bruises from time to time. the male couldn’t help the soft smile that formed as he watched the two.  “ his name is kratos and i feel like i should start running instead of walking him to see if he gets rid of some of his energy. ”  he had tried it once and gave up as soon as he began, since it had just gotten kratos more excited.

he raised his brows at the response he got. eesh, some people could be so demanding and rude. “if you think i’m leaving this tree or giving up on this shot, you are delusional. trust me, you’re better off just moving ten goddamn feet over to the left. it’ll make this day a lot easier for us both.”

     what left her lips was a laugh that managed to be a mixture of both disbelief and sarcasm. the other had showed them enough to make them want to annoy him more.  “ i’ve been called delusional many times, but i reckon that when you’re up on a tree, you lose most of your credibility. and like i said, i’m not leaving. ”

“i… didn’t expect it not to,” she replied slowly but assertively, attempting to hide the fact that she felt slightly foolish over her fight with a vending machine which thankfully hadn’t led to outright destruction of property. “by all means, go ahead,” a chuckle fell from her lips as she stepped away from the machine and gestured towards it so the other could work their trick. 

     “ ah. how can i argue with that logic? ”  the rhetorical question left with a hint of irony, something that the people who talked to dakota were likely rather used to.  “ yes, ma’am. ”  they made their way to the machine. a few seconds were spent looking at it, trying to remember the details. then, all it took was a few hits on the right place and tipping the machine slightly and the chocolate bar fell.  “ there ya’ go. ”

looking up at the sound of a familiar voice she smiled softly before nodding,“ oh sure of course. ” taking a step back to allow the other near the bird, a slight tinge of jealousy when he simply perched himself on his finger. “ how do you do that ? ” though the sentence came off light and jovial she was entirely serious, she could speak to birds sure but it wasn’t like they were having a full two sided conversation. most times she felt like she was simply talking to herself and just hoping the bird would pickup on what she meant. 

     kiwoo’s eyebrow rose at the question.  “ how did i do wha  —  oh! ”  to him, it seemed simple enough. he had dealt with animals all his life and was far better at dealing with them than he was with humans. sometimes he forgot that people didn’t share the same connection he did with animals.  “ well, i feel like it’s all about the energy you present, y’know? i try to be calm about these things so they don’t get scared away. besides, i’ve helped a lot of stuck birds, so experience also helps. ”

two knocks on the vending machine hadn’t been enough for it to spill out the chocolate bar florencia had been craving, meaning that maybe a hard kick wasn’t the way to go –– but she was moody, tired, and had skipped lunch to finish an article in time. she wouldn’t give up easily. but just as she struck her foot against the machine with the strength she’d acquired after years of kickboxing, a person appeared in the previously empty hallway, making her face them with a blank face and a shaky breath as she tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ears. “it ate my money,” she explained sheepishly, her previous anger fading into embarrassment. 

     the loud sound from the hallway caught dakota’s attention and they ended up making their way there. it didn’t take her too long to realize what was happening, the other’s explanation proving pretty much useless.  “ i could tell. ”  they said, shaking their head slightly as they made their way towards the vending machine.  “ did you expect the machine to just surrender at your violence? ”  the question left in a playful manner, their eyes focused on the machine rather than the person next to them.  “ y’know, there’s a trick for this. ”

     kratos was a big fluffy dog that loved people. and the thing about dogs? well, they were unpredictable. kiwoo praised himself in having taught him many things, but he still hadn’t been able to teach him to calm down. surely, his dog wasn’t always crazy, but it was one of those days when kratos just decided to be wild. kiwoo wasn’t able to stop him from running towards the first person he saw and jump at them, practically begging for being petted. “ oh, fuck! ”  he didn’t curse often, but it just slipped as he followed the dog and pulled him back, telling him to sit.  “ sorry about that! did he hurt you? ”

is oliver-titus hanging out of a tree by his legs to get some shot that he is going to insist this is the only way to get it? yes, yes he is. does he care? no, absolutely not. it was going well until someone walked into the frame. “hey! get out of my frame! i’m trying to get some work done here!” he yelled from his tree.

     dakota stopped on their tracks after hearing someone yelling and they looked around to see if it was directed to them or not. their eyebrows furrowed once she saw the person on the tree, eyes rolling.  “ look, asshole. you’re gonna have to find another spot or just take a picture of me, ‘cause now i’m not leaving. ”

clara was, well, carrying two plants in her arms and had a bag slung in the crook of her elbow with various baking ingredients. she walked down main street, eager to get to her car and unload her things. fumbling, she managed to get near where her car was parked, but found herself unsure of how to proceed. “excuse me, could you do a girl a favor and hold a plant for a second?” there really was no other course of action at this point, the plants were in ceramic pots and she didn’t want to chip one by dropping it.

     kiwoo was taking kratos for a walk, his free hand inside of his pocket as he took steady steps down the street. upon hearing a voice, he turned to the stranger and gave her a polite smile along with a nod.  “ sure thing. ”  he soon replied, asking kratos to sit as he reached for the plants.  “ these look really cool, by the way. ”  being the fan of nature that he was, he couldn’t help but to comment, even if it was a slightly ridiculous calling plants cool.

rickson had spent most of his day in his shop d his legs were itching or adventure, for his garden to dance. but then the bell dinged and he had to put on a happy face. “hi there! welcome to rawley’s construction, can i help you with anything?” pausing, rick sighed. “actually would you be willing to help me with something? wait no, never mind. sorry.” his cheeks felt hot and he couldn’t believe he’d felt weak enough to ask a random person for help.

     the male stopped by rawley’s construction to get something, but after walking in and hearing the other, he soon realized that he had forgotten what it was. “ oh, i was just looking for... ”  he paused. kiwoo felt ridiculous due to his forgetfulness, which just made him want to hide from embarrassment. however, helping the other with whatever it was they needed would surely make him feel a lot better.  “ no, no, tell me! i wouldn’t mind giving you a hand. ”

perched on the sidewalk mira’s hands moved quickly behind her reaching for the piece of pink chalk she had tossed off a few minutes earlier. one of her school assignments had been a work with any unexpected medium of choice and the child in mira had decided to try her hand at sidewalk art. so, that’s how she ended up surrounded by various colors of partially broken chalk and covered in pastel powder on the sidewalk in front of her parent’s house. her hand moved pulling the pink chalk across the sidewalk working the color into her piece. leaning back slightly she pushed out her lips scanning the design in front of her, something was missing and she just couldn’t put her finger on it. “almost perfect,” she spoke aloud more to herself then to anyone in general, “but what is missing, what could it be?” she tapped her index finger on her chin leaving more powder in the spot she tapped. 

     dakota never had much to do. it came with being unemployed and wanting to stay that way. despite the fact that they would much rather stay home, in the company of their beloved computer, they had to go to the library to look for a book. one would think that being the technology lover they were, they’d rather read online. however, no matter how many times they tried to do it, they always went back to physical books. the sidewalk covered in various colors caught their attention, making them stop in their tracks to be able to try and see what it was exactly.  “ maybe you’re just looking at it from the wrong perspective. ”  a shrug of shoulders followed. it wasn’t as if they were an artist, but they had their fair share of times feeling what the other felt, while doing their own little gadgets.

it was a sunny day, well sunny for winter at least and she wanted to leave the door open to let the sun in. what she wasn’t expecting was for a bird to fly in while she was in the middle of a reading, “ i - uh… ” she was dumbfounded, part of her needed to get this bird out of her store but she didn’t want to be rude. “ give me a second. ” walking towards the bird who simply peered up at her from the perch on top of her bookshelf. “ um, can you leave ? ” it must have seemed a little odd, a grown woman and a bird having a conversation but she was too gentile to try and shoo it away or hurt it. “ no really, you can’t stay here dude. ”

     walking home from university was something he always did. not only because it was close, but also because he always loved being outside. feeling the fresh air, admiring the nature and interacting with the animals that he saw. after spotting a bird entering the familiar store, kiwoo couldn’t help but to follow it. a soft smile appeared on his lips as we watched the other try to get it to leave, glad that they were actually being gentle about it, instead of freaking out.  “ uh, would you mind if i tried something? ”  he questioned, already taking slow steps towards the bird.  “ come here, buddy. ”  the words left in a whisper as he gently grabbed the bird, petting its head with his index finger.

          hi , hello ! i’m tati ( she / they ) & gmt . both of my muses are old muses that always held a special place in my heart , so i just had to bring them . anyway , under the cut you’ll find a small summary about them !   trigger warning for death, drugs mention.

DAKOTA RHODES  :  29  ,  SHE  /  THEY.  ( zoe kravitz )

their brother was the one who raised them & since he was a hacker, he ended up teaching a lot to dakota. the two of them made a great team, dakota’s love for engineering & technology in general and all of the knowledge she got from reading a lot of books complemented her brother’s. but one day he messed with the wrong people & was killed when dakota was 23. after his death, dakota was never the same. after jumping around from city to city, they ended up settling in red oak.

they became kind of emotionally detached and find it really hard to let people in becaus they know just how hard it is to lose someone they love & they don’t want to go trough that again so they just push people away a lot & prefer being alone. they speak fluent sarcasm and may end up being perceived as rude but that’s hardly ever their actual intention, dakota just lacks tact. they’re not that bad, they just need some light. also, i never know where to add this stuff but they’re a panromantic asexual.

his father was absolute trash & walked out on him and his mother, which led to his mother becoming a drug addict and kiwoo being sent to foster care when he was a teenager. after receiving a letter from a stranger that would turn out to be his half-sister, he found out that his father had also left his first child. kiwoo’s sister offered for the two of them to move in together & they’ve been close ever since.

zoology major. owns a dog called kratos ( a 2 y/o bernese mountain dog ) that’s the second thing he loves the most ( his sister is the first one ). but he just loves all animals since they’re all pure and good and everything humans should be but aren’t. he will protect any animal no matter what. so don’t expect him to kill spiders but do expect him to be mad at you for doing so. he fell in love with animals when he was in foster care, because he’d spend a lot of his time outside feeding stray animals and just hanging out with them. he’s just very soft and a nice, genuine person. protect him at all costs. again, i never know where to put this but he identifies as queer but he freaking hates labels.
