Sasuke takes in the meaning of the stranger's words; and his expression changes to one of disbelief. "....So you're saying, we're stuck here?" How was that possible?

Still applying his own world's logic to this situation, he naturally assumed there must have been some kind of genjutsu keeping everyone within the borders of this city-scape.

"...Then, how long have you been here?"

Aah.... This again...

It's no wonder, of course. Wanting out of the place you've been kidnapped to is a no brainer but it's never pleasant to break it out to the people that do think they have a way out.

" If you travel outside the island borders you'll end up being returned back here. "

" So uh... My bad. There's no way out.

Sasuke glanced up at the newcomer, still keeping a tight grip on the robber he had captured. "I don't plan on getting caught." Then he raised his hand and swiftly bashed it against the robber's neck, sufficiently knocking him out.

After that, he stood up and dusted off his hands, watching the other fellow fall to the ground in a one-hit k.o.

"Tch.. thanks. I guess. ....I had it handled though."

it's not that yuri goes out looking for trouble! far from it (allegedly), but he can't help it this time; what kinda pipsqueak would have adults crying uncle?

two adults, to be precise. one writhing on the ground, held in place by who he can only assume to be the 'crazy kid' in question, and the other... oh. gearing up for a cheap shot, hm? some helpless victim they are.

"sneak attacks aren't a good look, y'know," he chides, right as he swings the butt of his sword across the second individual's head-- a one-hit k.o.!

"...anyhoo, that goes for you, too," lips twisting in scarcely-suppressed amusement (with a wince mixed in, perhaps), "you're drawing attention, and -- take it from me, kid -- dolts like these aren't worth a trip to the slammer."

Sasuke sat back up on his knees; still keeping a close eye on the woman. He had never seen a being like her before, but he had heard stories. That is where his initial fear sparked from. However, the more he thought about it...the more he realized that he shouldn't be afraid. Anyone could be killed, even a spirit. As morbid as it was, it made him feel more comfortable.

Also, for the moment she claimed to be peaceful; kind even. He had his reasons for being untrusting, but she wasn't giving him any reason to mistrust her so far.

"...." He didn't answer her right away though. Instead he glanced down a the food on the tray, and he could feel his stomach start gurgling with hunger.

"Then you should understand. I don't know how I got here, or why. I would be an idiot to trust someone I just met.."

Oh! Her tails...She didn't need to look to realize that this may not have been something he was used to seeing. "Sorry, I'd put them away, but I can't." And his question has her humming in thought. Tails swish as she ponders and then,

"Why wouldn't I? I sensed you, you were outside unconscious and it was dangerous. You needed help." There was nothing more to it other than that there was someone in need.

"I won't hurt you, I promise. To be honest with you, I couldn't even hurt a fly."

Sasuke froze up for a moment; eyeing the stranger warily as he took in her appearance. She had tails...like a fox. Like a demon. Despite the rescue, and what may have been good intentions, the boy scrambled backwards reflexively.

He briefly took his eyes off of her to look at the tray of tea and snacks. However, when he glanced back up at her, he was frowning. It didn't seem like she was going to hurt him; but this was his first time seeing someone that looked like this.

With all the stories he had heard back in his own world about demons and other beastly entities, no one could blame him for being wary.

Ignoring what she asked, he had a question of his own. "You...saved me, why?"

"You're awake. That's really good. For a second I didn't think you'd wake up today." An hour was enough for her to set back up tea for him. It was hot and she warned him when she placed the tray down. "The tea should help with the headache. I didn't think giving you any kind of pill would be smart, but if you're hungry I also got you some snacks too." On the same tray, there are a few breads and some are filled with red bean fillings.

"You were passed out just outside of Mistwood. How are you feeling?"

Sasuke glanced away from the woman. As tough and aloof as he tried to appear, he was still really just a kid. Despite everything he had been through, and even now. He was still weak. Perhaps it wasn't his fault in the grand scheme of things. However, in his mind he blamed himself for these mistakes.

"Fine."

He looked back over at her and held out his arm. There was a nasty burn covering part of it in splotchy pattern.

"Oh I don't doubt you are in the slightest bit. If you were a child I would've expected plenty more crying." A little bit more hardened then most people their age that was for sure but still young at heart. Almost reminded her a bit of Beruka just without the flier assassin energy...

"Still leaving you all alone wouldn't feel good on my conscience either. If you don't want help then feel free to shoo me away. Otherwise I'd at least want to do the bare minimum for you."

Sasuke didn't recognize any of those names, because why would he? This must have been a completely new country. It may have seemed obvious to anyone else, but he needed to be certain for himself.

"Yeah. A way out of this place.." He hoped that one of the locals would be able to point him in the right direction. While he had read the introductory pamphlet front to back several times already, it hadn't given him the answers he was looking for.

"I need to find a way out of here. There must be a road, or...or a train that leads out of the city."

Eiden's stopped by the train station, picking up a sandwhich and picks ups his phone to dabble while in wait for his train. There's still quite a long time before it's here anyway...

Eiden blinks as he's addressed. Simple and direct to the point, someone might put it into the tab of rudeness but Eiden's not really pressed over small things like that.

" City of Glass... one of the branches here. Glass blowing, wildlife reserve's there, among other things. I'm off at Sunset Circuit though! You looking for something? "

After about an hour, Sasuke began to regain consciousness. He blinked his eyes first, while his vision was blurry, he sat up with a sudden gasp. In turn this caused him to cough loudly and painfully.

Then he quickly looked around the room, wincing as he did so. He placed a hand over one of his eyes, feeling the pain behind it throbbing; as well as the pain in his head. "Damn it..." A clear sign that he had used up all his chakra. He had been too careless!

It seemed as though someone had been kind enough to rescue him from his predicament. Though that also meant he had shown weakness in such a dangerous situation. He needed to be more careful. Such mistakes could be his last.

If it weren't for her good hearing of something falling onto the ground while she was cleaning up her Dojang or the scent of a person nearby, she probably wouldn't have noticed something was wrong. The broom is dropped abruptly and the Gumiho is stepping out quickly. To have lost consciousness anywhere NEAR mistwood was not safe.

She's quick to spot the child scoop him up in her arms and dash right back into the nearest area. Her dojang was safe, and warm, and padded where the martial artists would train and spar. She places him there.

He must be new if he was using up his energy to do something.

Sasuke made a face; then he looked away from the stranger as he knelt down to give the cat in front of him some attention. It didn't seem like this guy was trying to be threatening, but the younger boy couldn't help to glance back over at him with a suspicious stare.

However, there came a point when he needed to let suspicion go, less it become detrimental, so he could find new allies. It was just difficult for him to discern who to trust, and who to not. At the very least, he could give him a drop of trust, just to test the waters first..

"Yea I'm new, and I'm alone. I haven't seen anyone that I recognize."

Alone. That kind of stung for him to hear out loud.

Yuuji ambled Spirale's side streets with no apparent intention or direction. He drifted aimlessly up and down streets, his deceptively attentive eyes surveying each corner as if waiting for an unnamed beast to pounce. His eyes skimmed across the horizon, routinely checking another corner-- then, he saw him. He froze mid-step, squinting as he leaned his head in; craning far out like a turkey, he watched the younger teen with intrigue. If the kid's hair was a tad shorter, he'd look just like him.

"ˢᵒ ᵗʰᶦˢ ᶦˢ ʰᵒʷ ᶠᵘˢʰᶦᵍᵘʳᵒ ʷᵃˢ ᶦⁿ ᵐᶦᵈᵈˡᵉ ˢᶜʰᵒᵒˡ, ˢᵒ ˢᵖᶦʳᶦᵗᵉᵈ," he muttered to himself. He shook his head in denial and approached, "Are you new to the city?" As another stray feline stalked closer, Yuuji kneeled to beckon the animal closer. "Anyone from your world here with you?"

'This kid is crazy!!' 'Help!'

Sasuke had been jumped by two individuals that thought he would be an easy target to rob. However, much to their surprise and shock, this kid had used simple taijutsu to incapacitate one of them. Sasuke sat on the guy's back and kept his arm pulled painfully behind him.

Funny that they were calling for help when they were the ones that tried robbing him in the first place. 'He's gonna break my arm!!'

Sasuke was trying to observe the people in this place. Just to see if anything strange stuck out to him in particular. It was frustrating when nothing of note came out of his observations. This was normally something he was really skilled at. So perhaps he was more visibly upset than he wanted to come across.

"I'm not a fan of any of this."

He was letting his emotions get the better of him, but who could blame him? He was literally a kid, even if he didn't think of himself as such. This situation could tear even the most powerful of individuals down.
