My little place to rant mostly about sports but also this that and the other stuff; now I will also be sharing photographs of things I find visually appealing!

Capture
I think I’d like to create more of a “Gallery” style blog here. I will be more proactive in capturing regular day to day visuals that I find appealing however insignificant and take the time to share them on here. We’ll see how frequent this becomes.

Why is San Francisco 49er Legendary RB No. 33 Roger Craig not yet in the Hall of Fame?
I’m watching the NFL network and John McClain is being interviewed by Andrew Siciliano. There’s another gentleman on there whose name eludes me at the moment but what I liked is he said if there’s a tie in a particular position he’ll take into consideration how long a player has been waiting compared to a new comer. I would love to ask these panelists/voters what their other criteria are. I have to research Roger Craig’s stats and will update and post them here asap but that said I off the top of my head can imagine that he’s got to be at least statistically better than a number of backs who’ve made it. He’s the first player in NFL history to post both 1000 yards rushing as well as receiving and can boast 3 Superbowls on his resume. Marshall Faulk is in and has better career stats but only 1 ring compared to Roger’s 3. I’m not saying Marshall doesn’t deserve to be in but I am saying that the most important stat to me is championships and he was a big part of 3 out of 5 for a franchise. He wasn’t there for the first and last ones but all things considered i think Roger needs much over due respect!

Also notable, with 13,100 yards from scrimmage he is ranked higher than Hall of Famers Joe Perry, Earl Campbell and Gayle Sayers in this category. His totals will not rival the likes of Walter Payton or Jim Brown but keep in mind he was playing on a very pass oriented west coast system pioneered by a certain Bill Walsh featuring a certain wide receiver by the name of Jerry Rice and the clutch qb Joe Montana. The pass definitely fed the run and vice versa but it's definitely something to consider. Craig was a dynamic player who played a large role in the 49ers storied success and it would be a travesty to not include him before further inductees continue to be added to this prestigious honor.

Good morning sunshine!
It's about 10am. I just finished my oatmeal and am drinking some coffee. I sat in the sun for just a few minutes and really let myself feel it. It was awesome!
