“That’s a great idea.” Crafting an item where the photograph could be stored safely while also being displayed might help her come to terms with everything that had happened. To say she had experienced hardship these past few months would be an understatement.

“Keeping a photo somewhere that you can look at it anytime you want can lift your mood even in the toughest of times.” And he was speaking from experience. Whenever he was feeling down or hopeless, all he had to do was look at Trucy’s picture to feel himself become anew. 

Because he had someone to live for.

“Maybe you can take more pictures,” Blue eyes flicker towards her again as he closes the locket. “Create new memories and then make something that shows them all off. Like a photo album.” An album would be a bit more difficult to carry around with her, but it didn’t need to be something that was always on her person if she didn’t want it to be. Sentimental and valuable objects could come in many forms.

She slowly began trembling as Phoenix talked more && more about the idea of keeping something so close to her...something she could always look at. After all, her mother was one of the people she always strove to be like growing up--even if it was her aunt && not her real mother. Then there was mention at creating an album. This was nothing she had considered before but....the idea left a warm sensation swelling in her chest. ‘ I....never thought about that. ‘ She murmured. Surely she’d have to ask her birth mother if she had any photos worth adding to create this album. After all, she was the woman who always seemed to be at her side-at her beck && call even. Inhaling slowly through her nose did the priestess do her best to calm the swelling in her chest.    ‘      BARBED HEAD! ‘ She hollered, not having any reason to raise her voice, but none the less she did it, face coloured with shades of red. ‘ You have a camera with you, don’t you? I recall you wandering around the Kingdom so many times when you first arrived taking nothing but picture after picture. ‘ Perhaps he could help her.

“Surely you must have something that means a lot to you? It doesn’t have to involve your title. Something more personal to you, perhaps?” Sometimes a person’s most important possession was something simple. Like a photograph, for example.

“I show off my badge because it means a lot to me. It represents my duty to protect those who have nobody else on their side. It reminds me of my responsibility and keeps me grounded.” He knew that Rayfa sometimes had doubts about he duties, so maybe talking about this would help her understand that it was okay to doubt yourself. Just as long as you pulled yourself together and carried on.

“I have this, too.” He pulls out the locket that was hidden in his suit’s breast pocket. “It also means a lot to me, but I prefer to keep it close to my heart at all times.” He did show it around here and there, but not as much. He didn’t need to remind himself of his duty and responsibility when it came to being a father - that was something he would never forget.

“It has my daughter’s picture inside.” He pops it open to show her. “Trucy.”

   Sea green hues would watch as he removed the chain from his breast pocket, reveling the locket he had hidden away. Oh--she recalled this girl! She was there during the end of that final trial Phoenix had attended while first visiting the Kingdom. So this was his daughter...It almost made the Priestess wonder if her father ever had something like this. She recalled the items they found inside his safe...not only the birthday letter she wrote to him when she was young--but also the picture of her with her birth mother. ‘ I..... ‘ She began, slowly curling a fist to her chest- trying hard not to get frustrated && tense up. Emotions wavered within her, feeling overwelmed with them, but tried to keep her cool. Perhaps she needed to make something like that; something like the pedant both  of her biological parents always had kept. After all, Nahyuta had their father’s attorney badge that he always seemed to wear. So perhaps she’d have to get something simalar made. ‘       I do not....but perhaps I should request for something made-- from that picture you found in Father’s safe. ‘

“It would be foolish if it never worked.” But it did. Time and time again. A smile blossoms on his face at her next point. Ah, the good ol’ badge flashing. That was mainly him goofing around, bur he also genuinely enjoyed it.

“Have you ever liked something so much that you wanted to show it off to everyone?” He thinks to his daughter who adored waving around those magic panties of hers so that everyone could see just how amazing they were.

“There’s no harm in it, Your Benevolence.”

   ‘ Well...you do have a point there. ‘ There never wasn’t a case that he hadn’t lost after all; excluding the forced guilt verdicts the judge always gave him before he was able to convince him to let him continue on. Also it was no wonder Apollo’s defending style was so simalar...this man was the one he learned from, wasn’t he? Arms crossed over one another, that pout still burnt on her expression, still frustrated with him as usual. That was until he brought up the reason why he was always showing off his badge. ‘ Something...I’d like to show off to everyone? ‘ She’d ask slowly, as if she was trying to wrap her mind around the statement alone. Her lips soon curled before letting out a small tut of a chuckle before replying.

‘ I have nothing to show off, Barbed Head. After all, everyone already knows I’m the Royal Priestess. ‘

   ‘ Yes it’s because of that trial! ‘ With a huff && was her face already scarlet red from all the frustration built up inside of her. Now a days it didn’t seem very rare to see the elder lawyer in the kingdom even after Apollo had started reforming the law alongside Nahyuta. Most of the time it was only because with Apollo being the only defense lawyer here that he got overwelmed with clients. && with every court case came a Seance; meaning the Princess was always watching each one. It seemed however that something during the most recent one had gotten her frustrated enough to have her lash out like that. ‘ Your bluffing! It’s just so....FOOLISH! ‘ Sure while it was something that he practically did any time he was pinned back into a corner, it was something she’d have to bring up now.        ‘     It’s even just as ludicrous when you show your badge off to everyone you meet! ‘
