I've made a Hollow Knight brooch not so long ago. I think some of you may be interested in how this jewelry piece is created.

Here i made a drawing and transfered it to the piece of jewelry wax, then sawed it out. There are lots of different types of wax, suitable for all kinds of situations. This particular one is good for carving, because it's similar to hard wood. Forgive me for reference pics pls.

Then i'm making a basic shape with chisels and a cutting tool i've made from a broken file. The first thing i do is determine what is in the front, and what's in the back. Then i can proceed with smoothing out the surface and adding more details.

Time to add more details! I use finer chisels, sometimes even gravers for metal, because they're more precise, and also stamatological tools, because they are small and convenient. I also add bits of softer wax with a soldering station to make limbs

I'm adding some other parts in softer red wax for needle and a loop to wear it as a pendant, using my solder station. And it's ready to be casted in silver! Wax will melt away completely and the hollows will be filled with metal (no pun intended)

So that's it :)) At least for creating a wax model. Then goes the further working with the metal parts, but i will tell about it the next time. I also made a mold, so now i can create clones! :D
