Masker yang dipakainya begitu lusuh, dipakai dan dicuci berkali kali. Aku tak bisa menebak berapa jumlah masker yang dimilikinya. Rasanya sangat malu ketika kau teringat masker sekali pakaimu yg menumpuk di meja kantor.

Bersyukurlah dengan apa yang ada. Lihatlah ke bawah dan kau akan merasakan betapa banyak nikmat yang diberikan oleh-Nya kepadamu. Tak perlu lagi mengeluh, bersyukurlah.

My mind were on negative mode. I can't even work properly. I hope that I'd forget if I keep my self busy yet it always poking on my mind. I know that this is wrong, I shouldn't remember all the upset things. All the things happen was destined, and I should accept it. I must accept it.

26 Oktober 2020, Hujan

Sebulan sudah dari hari terakhirku menulis. Alhamdulillah, dengan izin-Nya terlewati sudah masa-masa begadang dengan rasa kegelisahan, kelelahan, kecemasan, dan rasa lainnya pertanda kau hanyalah seorang manusia. Kini ku dapat mengatakan, hari-hari itu telah menjadi sejarah. Untukmu yang saat ini sedang dalam rasa di atas, percayalah bahwa semua akan berlalu dengan izin-Nya. Percayalah bahwa Allah takkan memberikan masalah/kesulitan diluar kemampuan hamba-Nya. Berbaik sangkalah pada-Nya dan janganlah berputus asa. Semangat 💪

وَلَسَوۡفَ يُعۡطِيۡكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرۡضٰىؕ

And [very soon] your Lord will give you [so much] that you will be satisfied.

One of my favourite suwars from the Qur’an is Surah Dhuha because of how beautiful each lesson is behind every ayah.

This surah was revealed to the Prophet ‎‪ﷺ‬ at a time when he didn’t receive any revelation for 6 months. He was saddened by this and felt that Allah was displeased with him, had forgotten him and didn’t want him as a nabi anymore.

How many of us feel like this when we are in a situation where our world is crumbling apart? Our imaan feels low, we don’t have khushoo in our salah and neither does it have an impact on our hearts. We feel as if Allah doesn’t love us or care about us and it seems as if all our du’as are going unheard. Yet, this beautiful surah was revealed to give hope, solace and comfort to the Prophet ‎‪ﷺ‬ that Allah hasn’t forgotten him and that He is always with him.

Whenever you feel like you’re drowning in the ocean of life and cannot see a way out, look to this surah and find peace, reassurance and renewed faith in Allah that He hasn’t forgotten you either. He will never leave you in the dark by yourself. Know that very soon, Allah will give you so much that your heart will be satisfied ❤️

26 August '20. Terik, too crowded

Sesungguhnya mengeluh itu melupakan semua kenikmatan yang diberi. Mungkin kau merasa lelah dengan semua ini, tapi ingatlah betapa banyak di luar sana yang berharap hidupnya sepertimu (terlepas mereka tahu akan keadaanmu sebenarnya atau tidak).

Kemudahan pasti akan datang setelah kesulitan dan kau sudah sering merasakannya. haruskah terus diingatkan lagi dengan kegelisahan yang berkelanjutan untuk membuktikannya?. Sesungguhnya kau tahu, dari lubuk hatimu bahwa rasa gelisah itu takkan memecahkan masalah namun membawamu ke-putus-asaan akan takdir-Nya.

25 August '20. Cerah

Semakin bertambah usia, semakin takut dengan diri ini. Takut tak lagi sama, bukannya bertambah baik, namun memburuk.

When we see our world falling apart, and our plans becoming like scattered dust, then remember that Allah is more Merciful to us than a mother is to her child. In every situation, in every moment. Even those moments when it feels like your heart will split into two because of the pain. Know that He’s preparing you and paving a way for you to Him. He’s ridding you of your sins and is giving you the opportunity to raise your hands to Him in repentance so that He may forgive you. He’s strengthening you.

What kind of friend are you?

There are two kinds of meetings between friends:

The first kind is a meeting based on sociability and spending time, in which there are more disadvantages than advantages, the least of which is corruption of the heart, and wasting time.

The second kind is a meeting for the sake of supporting one another, and recommending one another to the truth and to patience. This is the best kind, yet there are still three disadvantages therein,

1) Flattering each other.

2) Being excessively talkative.

3) That such meetings become a habit or routine and they fail to achieve their aims.

How do you revive a dead heart? How do you pray if you are only going through the motions, but can't get the feeling behind it?

Sins shatter the heart. Sins empty the soul. Repent from your sins, ask forgiveness for it. It is only when you start to reflect and recognize the sins of your actions will your heart start to revive itself.
