my in stars and time theory is that it does not make you more mentally ill like people often joke, but rather leads you to face aspects of your mental illness/problems you may not have realized you had before you engaged with it and took in its story. which is part of what i think makes it such an amazing story, but a heavy one for those who might not be ready to face some things about themself but worth it if you can.
