PERRY THE PLATYPUS!
Thank you everyone for participating in this!! The enthusiasm people had for all these characters was overwhelming in the best way 💖 it was nice to see people coming together in support of their favs, and how the tournament kind of breached containment a lot lol. It was really a lot of fun :3
I don't know if there will be a second run or if I'll use this blog again (it's become obvious that poll running is very much not one of my strengths lol) but everything will stay here to remind us of this insane ride <3

I would actually like to know more about Bodoque. I got heartbroken when he got knocked out so early on, thats just fun looking guy he deserves the screentime me thinks.

YAY FINALLY A REASON TO USE THIS ACCOUNT TO TALK ABOUT THE BNUUY
So the show 31 Minutos is a muppet-like parody of a news anchor from Chile and Juan Carlos Bodoque is one of its reporters and also probably the most popular character of the show.
He's depressed, addicted to gambling, snappy, and I genuinely believe he could have become one of THE tumblr sexymen of the 2010s if this show was more popular outside of latin america. He's got a... very nice voice. And some iconic lines. They let him almost-cuss in one episode!!
The best part: while 31 Minutos is 90% just silly antics Bodoque is the host of the one educational segment of the show where he teaches kids about climate change and conservation and such. Because he's a reporter HE'S usually the one getting taught things and asking questions the viewer may have. Usually he gets put in these situations against his will (getting lost in the woods trying to impress a girl, getting stuffed in a trash bag and taken to the dump without remembering how he got there, etc.) and ends up getting saved by someone who actually knows their shit and they teach him stuff. It's fun I remember watching those segments in class.

Honestly kind of poetic that I started this poll to include an iconic character from my childhood that no one outside latin America recognized and he ended up losing first round, but now eastern Europe is pulling through for an iconic character from their childhood no one outside eastern Europe recognizes.
