you know what's a really underrated part of the Dracula novel?

it's when everyone (Jack, Arthur, Quincey, Jonathan, and Van Helsing) all go to see Renfield and Renfield proceeds to greet/compliment all of them except for Jonathan whom he ignores entirely

I can never decide if that was intentional because Renfield was jealous of all Jonathan's one-on-one Dracula time, or if Stoker just...forgot Jonathan was there, given that he has no dialogue or reactions in the scene
