Yay, it's Valentine's Day! Here in Brazil people celebrate it on June 12th, so I just celebrate both!

This piece was a lot quicker to finish than I expected; probably because I drew it small, and there were no large parts to color! Oh, and the little seals at the bottom are an inside joke from Discord XD

I think I drew this way back in February, for Valentine's Day, taking a page out of CLAMP's book by dressing up the characters in cute outfits while they do things.

I didn't plan the drawing out properly, and never intended to color it, but I was in a bit of a CLAMP mood recently and wanted to practice some of the things I've been learning in art class, so I went for it.

I had a few issues making lines straight despite using a ruler, but I think it looks okay?

Challenges aside, I really like how this came out! I think I did good with the shading and making all the colors work together, feel harmonious, and guide the eye to where I want it to go, I'm pretty proud!

In my headcanon, my OC Allie loves baking, so she convinced the girls to bake a cake and cookies to share with their SO's, and while the cake's practically done, Helga's having a bit of trouble trying to figure out which of the weird little jars is salt and which one's the sugar.

Here is the (very, very late) final post for Shortaki week: Day 8 - Creator's Choice: "Adventure". I've been learning a few new things in Photoshop, and I was able to at least get the colors closer to what they look like on the paper! Stuff is still grainy and I need to figure out how to fix that, but I'm happy the colors are at least more faithful!

Oops, completely forgot to post these here! The last pieces for Shortaki Week; this one was for Day 7 - "vow". Big thanks to a friend of mine for her help with the idea for the inspiration here! This door was inspired by a door design in one of Johanna Basford's amazing adult coloring books.

About the drawing itself, this would be a moment they snuck away before the actual wedding to make their vows to each other in an intimate moment, before they do so in front of all their friends and family.

I tried a new coloring tool that's similar to chalk for backgrounds to try and speed up the process for this week. I'm not a huuuge fan of the result, but...it works, I guess?

Shortaki Week Day 3 - Memories

Shortaki Week Day 2 - Distance Yes, I know it's a day late....took me forever to decide on colors for Helga's side! The others are all probably gonna be late, too, but...I will make them! ^^; So, about this...I thought that Helga would probably get the opportunity to study abroad for a while, and I'm sure she'd take it, especially when she's older! Even so, I'm sure she and Arnold would stay in touch when they could!

My first post ever for Shortaki Week! This is Day 1, “Train”, and a tribute to the fascinating Galaxy Express 999. Instead of Maetel’s iconic all-black outfit, Helga’s wearing her outfit from Space Symphony Maetel, since I thought the pink version suited her more! Done in colored pencil, touched up in Photoshop.
