I know I said I was getting a ball python, but I think I’m pushing more towards a Mexican red knee. Ever since I “adopted” my bathroom spider “Steve” and he ran away, I can’t stop thinking about the respect I’ve gained for Steve and all spiders. Since I’m a newly recovering arachnophobe, I’m afraid of getting an aggressive species. What do you think? What would you suggest for a first time tarantula owner?
