Probably would've liked Halloween more if I'd ever gone trick or treatin when I was little. Ma wouldn't allow it, stayed sober on that night of the year just to make sure I wasn't sneakin out. In hindsight, probably a good thing since kids get snatched all the time when there ain't no adults around.

It sucked, though. Especially when I was in school, hated seein the other brats havin fun while I had to stay home. This one kid I knew was nice about it though, shared whatevah goods he had even after his brothers stole his candy. Was probably just pity but I woulda done the same thing for him.
