Anyway I'm in the middle of a move! Going from the West coast of the US, back to the East coast! Sorta.

And this process has been absolute hell!

His first impression wasn't starting off strong. For someone who was the top of his own class back home, Raiker's confidence sure didn't make him sound like it right now, seemly as awkward as a freshly hatched girafarig. He seemed aware of this, at least, and cleared his throat for a take two, giving Amarys an easygoing grin.

"Sorry, sorry, I'm a lil' distracted today. I'm Raiker. Raiker Wylder, and I'm an exchange student from Crimson City University-it's nice to meet ya, by the way. Uuuh, what's his name again...the director-man." He paused, eyes at the ground, snapping his fingers a few times as he struggled to remember the name of the bombastic founder of Blueberry Academy. "Cynano?" Wrong, but close enough.

"He asked me to find you to guide me around, to get used to the place, find my dorm, all that fun stuff." That part was at least true. Cyrano had enthusiastically sent Raiker off to find Amarys, fully accepting the out of place teen into the school without second thought, as if his arrival was genuinely predetermined and fully planned. It's just one of those things he just kinda had to roll with as of late.

Her duties as student council president required she be open to communication with the student body at large, and her popularity among her peers was bolstered by her position in the League Club. Needless to say getting approached out of the blue was a common occurrence for the teen, especially when it came to curious new students.

Blueberry Academy did allow enrollment for students up to twenty years old, though they would likely have to take a specialized adult education program. A certain silver-haired someone she knew may be going down that route, if he didn't get expelled first...

I really should bs a name for it, even if it's not a typical "regional" name. Even something like Cockatrice Variant Blaziken is better than a mysterious regional variant. I may make a page for that region and all of the nonsense it entails, but Raiker probably won't be visiting or taking anyone to that island for awhile yet. Mainly seeing as it won't be "officially" discovered for 20+ years.

He also pulls out two more objects, a multi tool and pocket knife combo, and a survival knife. The survival knife is something special, too, with a beautiful custom design made with high carbon and damascus steel. He may not be an outdoorsy type of person, but he sure is ready for it if need be.

And that's not including what's in his travel bag, but overall, he does pack fairly light.
