The teen relaxed faintly at the confirmation, making his way to the table and gently setting his materials down. There was still a beat of hesitation before he took a seat himself, his every movement radiated uncertainty.

Maybe it was a touch obvious he'd never sought outside help before. At the request of his name he straightened up.

❝ My name is Kageyama, Shigeo. ❞ Kageyama spread the workbooks out on the table, sorting them into two piles based on subject as he spoke. ❝ What's your name?❞

Yukako's uneasiness was a volatile tide that began to ebb since having made herself comfortable, but she could sense it starting to pick up the more she sat, feeling like the butt of a joke. Effects from her dismal experience at junior high school from the passing year, surely, flawlessly blending into the interior and children of Salt Middle School... it can't be helped. Sitting with her own vices for far too long, the knuckles of her left hand laid against her chin when the boy opened the door, piercing her thoughts and deicing her from her "hard" freeze.

“ You're in the right room. ”

Seeing that he looks the part of a student needing help, Yukako's spine straightens, her hair doubling as a cushion against the back of the school chair. There's no such thing as loitering around at your own school; and yet, the esper has had to send away handfuls of middle school students that were simply lingering at the classroom door, not needing to be tutored, but instead…

Well, she doesn't know what it was they wanted. Staring and whispering amongst themselves behind their all-covering hands, they seemed to be perfectly fine taking up space at the door, praying that she wouldn't notice them. Their hopes bore no fruit. “ What's your name? ”
