god im reading an atomatsu april fools scenario by the author and they really said,

we should make narumi suffer by showing him a happy, peaceful dream of an ordinary life in his village where everyone is alive and all grown up. he's just a normal school teacher and all his friends and students are alive but it turns out he cant wake up from this dream until he suffered completely bc the god of slumber, hypnos decided to punish him for wandering into the realm of the gods even if it was unintentionally.

it's suffering because narumi is the only one there who's completely aware that this is a dream and he wants to get out but at the same time he wants to stay and hypnos is like haha keep suffering u pathetic man. narumi begging the god is so painful :))

If you show any sign of confusion, he will grab you by the collar with a fury you've never seen before and throw you down to the ground.  With the same momentum, both you and Enji tumble down onto the ground.   He clings onto you and cries out desperately.   "I knew it as soon as I saw it. I didn't know what was going on until now. I thought it was just a gentle nightmare..."  "But I was wrong. You, you took my memories, violated them, and created this place! one of the funniest thing about the atomatsu author is that in the official Q&A book there's a question that's like "is narumi a virgin" author: idk you can decide by rolling a dice

also the author: so theres a chance that narumi may have slept with one of his friends in the nurse's office during the summer bc angsty yaoi moment

it's fortune to consider things as they were even now : nobody would spoil that shiroyama had never once lost a game of mahjong . avoidance had led not to loneliness but to stark boredom : he wonders , for however briefly , just how much the other would allow him to tease and toy .

you can tell this is an alternate reality bc his hair was not brown when he was a baby. there has to be some weird digital cult experiment going on in this world...

【Osmanthus Perfume】

Narumi wears a light osmanthus scented perfume. He just really likes the smell. It's so faint that you can't smell it unless you get really close to him but otherwise, you'll probably end up noticing the sweet fragrance of the cigarettes he usually smokes instead.
