you think in epic winter, after apple finds daring in his beast form, that entire scene takes place where she tries to kiss him to see if it'll break the curse or whatever, and then he runs off.

you think apple went and told someone about that like "hey I just saw daring and he's a BEAST what's up with that?????"

i'd like to imagine she went to raven and was like "yk I love you adore you and ik you've basically mastered your magic now but PLEASE don't tell me you accidentally cursed daring" and raven is CLUELESS

it's even funnier if she tried to go to DARLING to talk about this like "hey yes your brother my ex-destined prince is cursed to be a beast now and he asked me to kiss him and that flopped REAL bad what should we do??"

and darling, whose roommate is meant to be the beauty in beauty and the beast is like WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE.

but in all fairness, after the events of dragon games, I wouldn't blame apple if she just went "I'm sure we can sort this out later" and decided not to give 2 shits about the matter because she's already got a LOT to process right now.

If I'm being entirely honest, I think part of my love and preference for Darabella comes from the fact it even further adds to the mess that is the Charming siblings interpersonal relationships. Like when you examine the Charmings and their partners, it's hilarious how messy it is.

It starts with Daring and Apple and Raven and Dexter. Like Dexter is literally crushing on/in love with the girl he has been told will poison his future sister in law. Plus, Raven and Apple's whole deal is messy. Then we throw Darling, being Apple's true love in the mix, and suddenly we've gone from daytime tv soap opera to actual theatrical opera levels of drama. Like Darling is with Daring's kinda ex, Dexter is with Darling's girlfriend's roommate, Darling and Dexter's gfs have their own weird co dependent thing going on, then Rosabella comes in to tie it all up in a neat little bow as Darling's roommate and Daring's partner. Family dinners must be fun.

"My roommate, really, Daring?"

"You stole my destiny!"

No particularly reason for the eras, just the vibe I get from the characters and their designs!

Some time ago I wanted to draw StF characters during high school. I liked thinking about what they would look like at that age so much that a whole AU was born, which I painted.

During adolescence, a lot changes in a person's life: the environment, attitude, appearance and even one’s own self.

It became interesting for me to confront the characters with this, so the main theme of the AU is the first changes and the unknown that follows them.

As you may have noticed, the sisters are drawn in school uniforms. I think that the routine of high school gave a powerful impetus to the development of the characters' problems, because school is almost the main part of any teenager's life. This is a large concentration of stress, and its consequences are reflected in my AU.
