Of all the campers that Mikey and his brother could get stuck with, it just had to be the weird one - the strange boy that hardly spoke and blinked like some lizard on the brink of licking its own eyeball. Mikey couldn't explain it, but the kid just plain freaked him out.

Still, Tommy insisted on not leaving him behind when things went to shit after that dinosaur escaped. In order to keep himself from having to listen to his brother whine the whole journey to the rescue boat, he'd relented on forcing Jamie to stay behind at the camp shelter to fend for himself.

Of course, Mikey would still take the lead. He was, after all, the oldest which meant he was in charge. "I knew something was gonna go wrong at this stupid park, I told mom not to send us here," Mikey huffed out, stepping through the thick shrubbery and pushing past trees covered in dark vines coiled around the branches like snakes. He glanced back behind him, his lip curling slightly at the sight of Tommy and Jamie walking so close together.

Just as he was about to say something snarky, a loud booming voice rang out in the distance.

Attention all park visitors and personnel. The last ferry will depart in 30 minutes. Please make your way to the entry dock for immediate evacuation. I repeat, last ferry departure is in 30 minutes.

"Could you two walk any slower?" Mikey asked, halting suddenly and whirling around to face them, "I mean, shit, are you trying to make sure we miss the last ferry out of here? That's probably been your plan all along." As he spoke, he settled his gaze directly on Jamie, eyes narrowing into a slight scowl. Mikey didn't mind him knowing he didn't trust him - in fact, he wanted him to know.

I know I made a post before, but you know what? Screw it! I'll do as many of these as I want.

Let's mention this:

Obviating the kind of talk the characters might have had with each other if they mentioned Trevor's tattoo... anyone can even claim that it wasn't worth a moment (say when switching characters) where Trevor was looking at it and muttering something about it? Imagine a single scene where he would have said as a reproach why he got that tattoo and, later, why he nevertheless didn't remove it (Yes, I know, I know players can choose to remove/cover it up, but let's focus on canon).

Or imagine a time when Michael talked about it with someone else (like Franklin or Lester) and then decided to change the subject because he was affected by having seen it.

I'm not saying they would have made a great story, but I do think it would have delved a little deeper into Michael and Trevor's feelings.
