The community thing is kind of weird, right? I see my boss flirting with her boyfriend sometimes and it’s… I think it’s flirting? Maybe? You get used to it, though! I think if you reach out to the financial aid office they should be able to help you! Hopefully, at least. They probably have their in/out of state tuition posted online.
I mean, sort of? But I think it can be super helpful at times. Like now! I’ll definitely check out the financial aid office, thanks for the tip! As far as in/out of state tuition goes though, like do you know have to have paperwork to prove that you live in Maine because i live in an old house with my Pixie family that I don’t think is registered anywhere and like if i do that to go to school will i have to pay back taxes? Taxes are confusing. I hate taxes. I’ve lived here for a while I just want to be prepared!

Oh that sounds super fun! I’m not all of the public but I think a knitting business for animals would be a great idea for all of that wool. I definitely have a lot of um pixies cats that would love little sweaters! So I’d definitely take a few off of your hands if you start. Unfortunately I don’t know how to do either of those though, so Im not exactly helpful in that regard. But if you ever figure it out I’d be happy to learn and help out!
A lot of wool had shown up at my house. I think I might be stealing it but for the life of me I can’t remember… If I started up a knitting business, or maybe crochet? What’s the public opinion on this and also what if I only knitted or crochetted? croshet? croshayed? crocheted Specifically for pets? DO we have thoughts? DO we know how to knit and can teach me?

Nice to meet you, Aspen! I’m Skylar.
Mmm, that’s hard to say, but I know a little bit about this. I work with high school students and one of my students is planning on attending UMaine next year. It depends on quite a few things– have you applied for any kind of scholarships already? Those can really help you out. I also think the website has a tuition estimator too?
Nice to meet you too Skylar! Oh do you? Thats so cool. What do you do if you don’t mind me asking? I have not actually checked out any scholarships so I’m not exactly sure whats available for me to get. I graduated High School last spring and I’m on a... I think it’s called a gap year... yea that sounds right, to help pay for a couple semesters. Hopefully. But um I’ll definitely check out the tuition estimator!

Yeah, I’m honestly not sure what I’d do without my friends. They’re all pretty amazing. You don’t have to pretend this is for your friend. Does that sound mean? Funny, I love the outdoors, too. I actually feel better outdoors than indoors most of the time. I go hiking with my dog a lot. I’m glad you and your friend feel the same.
Well you’re amazing. And if they’re friends with you, they’re probably pretty amazing too. And Same I used that word right right? There’s just something about the outdoors that. My family and I go on a week long camping trip every summer and Its always one of the highlights of my year. But dog! thats so cool you have a dog. I’ve always wanted a dog or a cat, but my parents are Pixies are allergic.

I see. That makes sense, though there can be other methods of navigating the world other than sight.
That is true! I don’t think i’m very good at those ways though. My nose isn’t super strong, and my hearing is alright I guess. But then again I’ve never tried to go a whole day only relying on my other senses so who knows.

Sunrise is quite a beatiful time, I agree. But there's something so calming about a sunset.
I mean I can see that! Personally though I’m already clumsy in the light, so I avoid the dark because I’d probably hurt myself if I couldn’t see stuff. Also have you been around White crest lately? the dark is very scary.

Hey. Well, I can see this, so I guess you’re doing it right. No idea about financial aid or college costs in America, but I reckon their website can probably help, or the admissions department.
What are you studying?
Haha its my first time posting, even though I’ve had a profile for a little bit so glad to know I’m at least reaching a few people. But um thank you! Those are great suggestions! I see you mention “in America” Did you happen to go to college somewhere else? If so that so cool!
Um I’d like to study something about Plant biology or Environmental science? But Im really not picky. Anything with plants will do.

If you had to choose, sunset or sunrise? Why?
Hmmm, I think I’d probably chose sunrise! Mostly because I’m a morning person and if I’m up at that time then I could just start my day seeing something beautiful and who doesn’t like that?

A variety of knees are important in life, our customer is in need of knees that bend. Human and chicken knees bend while maneequin knees do not, so I tell you the honest truth that these knees have more in common with those of a chicken or human than a mannequin.
Think of this as an exchange in medical services, that is the beauty of capitalism after all, comparative advantage. Our poor fellow in ravenous desperate need of knees but an excess saliva anesthetic. By this trade we are bringing balance to the market!
Anesthetic is a numbing substance, it’s what makes people not feel pain during medical procedures.
Three hundred dollars, the same price as a certain anesthetic procedures.
Not sure I completely follow... but I will take your word for it! A variety of knees are important!
Ok, we’re trading one thing for another. That sounds doable!
I have another quick question though. What are you going to with the anesthetic once it’s traded? Because it sounds like it could be dangerous in the wrong hands.
Oh wow $300 to deliver a package? Maybe I should do this more often! Ok $300. What exactly do i need to do?

Oh no, not iron, never iron.
Hmmm, how do you feel about a knee delivery?
There is a Rawhead friendly fellow who is willing to trade us some highly valued anesthetic for the right knees.
Oh thats good. Would not want to poison my family after all.
Knee? Like as in Human knee? No that doesn’t sound right Mannequin knee? Please say mannequin knee. Or maybe a Chicken knee? Though I guess that would be called a drumstick right?
How much is this job paying? Also anesthetic. Thats the stuff people put you to sleep with right? OK now my stranger danger senses are tingling.
But then again I’m also poor.....

Hello! Tuition might vary depending on whether you’re attending part time or full time. The financial aid office will have more specific answers for you. But UMWC is a great school with a huge assortment of degree plans. Do you know what you’d like to study there? And if you’re not sure, you should try and see if any professors will let you sit in or audit their classes. I definitely love it when people come by to see how we do things in my classroom.
Oh wow, I didnt even know you could go part time, just thought you had to be full time the whole time. This is really helpful though, thank you! I’ll definitely pop by the office and ask them some more questions. Um I tihnk I’d like to study plant Biology or something like that. Not exactly sure what kind of job I could get with it afterward but at least I’d be doing something I love! Also auditing classes that sounds so cool. I’d love to come by your classroom if you’d have me! What do you teach?

Because everyone always needs money, college is very expensive and the things you learn there often are so great at paying that money back.
Are you interesting in doing some work, quick things, nothing too serious, just delivering some packages to folks. I’ll pay you for each one
That is actually very true. And sure! I’m great at delivering things! Can I ask a little bit more about what I would be delivering though? I really don’t like um iron work and stuff, but I’ll deliver it if you need me too!

I feel like there are people whose job it is to answer questions, stupid or otherwise. Go to the college and find out.
I guess that makes some sense. I get the feeling managing school and a job is tough. But hey, your choice. I find plants kind of boring but I guess it’s good someone cares.
You’ve never heard of a frat party? Uh, that’s… probably for the best. But if you’re curious, go ask Walker. He can surely tell you all about it. Maybe even invite you to one.
Of course. My questions can be very very stupid sometimes though so I try to look up most of everything myself. But um another nice lady told me to ask the financial aid people as well so I’ll do that!
Its hard? Oh I didn’t know that. I managed High school pretty well with this job. But I also didn’t have a lot of friends that wanted to do things so there is that too. And oh thats ok, I know not everyone can love them as much as my family and I.
Ok. Quick Question though: Who is Walker?

Are you looking for a way to make cash quick?
I mean. Um. I have a job, but I heard college is expensive and I’d really like to start as soon as possible so I guess I am looking for ways to make cash quick. How did you know?

Why don’t you go to the college and ask them? Or better yet, save money and don’t go to college and just get a job. Then you get to make money instead of sink yourself into debt for a few frat parties.
I mean, I at least assume that’s what college comes down to for most people. I can’t say I have first hand experience.
I mean I guess I could. Though to be honest thats a little scary, and i’m not sure if i’d ask the right questions. But I definitely will try, thank you for the suggestion!
Oh and I do actually have a job, I work at petal pushers! I just thought it would be cool to study plants a bit more because I love them so much.
Also i’m not quite sure I know what kind of party a frat party is but it sounds all cool and college-y.

That’s what I like to think. Being a good person and supportive is the most important thing when it comes to friendship. New to social interactions– I’m by no means an expert on this and probably sniff more than is socially acceptable to humans, but I’d be happy to show you, or your friends, some of the ropes. You like hiking or the outdoors at all, by any chance? If not, food is always a good common ground when making new friends. The woods are more fun but I like burgers so
I tend to agree. Its always nice when a friend is there for you. And YOU WOULD. Wait no Aspen play it cool. Oh wow that so nice of you! I’d love that actually, cuz i love the outdoors. I go hiking with my family all the time! Oh and um my friend does too.
