I'm back from a very long break and here's why
Hello everyone, I know it has been quite a while since I last posted something. The reason behind it is because of mental health issues and real life for example a full time job you name it. Now I am in a much better place in my life and I know now how to handle things differently.
Also I wasn't really sure in which direction I wanted the blog to go you could call creative frustration in a sense since I'm really not really decisive. And I struggled with that a lot plus I had a long break from the Sims 4 recently.
So I hope you can all understand the long hiatus when it comes to the blog.
So here is what I have planned for the blog.
Of course I will keep reviewing Sims content, but I also want to give you a guys the chance to join me on my journey of creating a save file which makes the Sims 4 more fun to play with since the game will be free for everyone from October 18th 2022.
So you guys can decide what kind of content you want in your game.
So I say let's hit the big red button and call it a restart shall we

How to be a Parent in The Sims 4 with The Sims 4 Parenthood
Welcome to a brand new post. Today I want to give you a my personal review of The Sims 4 Parenthood.
Parenthood came out on consoles on June 19th 2018. Parenthood is the fifth game pack of the Sims 4. It is similar to The Sims 3 Generations but not as in depth because Generations was an expansion pack.
Tumblr media
Parenthood is such an amazing game pack when you are a "realistic" Simmer. It comes also with a new Skill which is the Parenting Skill. It's only available for young adults. However as a parent you can "shape" the personality of your children. Because they get Character Values with Parenthood. To increase those your kids can i.e. Do their homework which increases the responsibility.
How many Character Values does a Sim have?
There are 5
Tumblr media
Toddlers already can work on the character values. It's also possible that the kids will ask their parents for advice. This results in a chance card. The outcome of it depends on the Parenting level of the Sim who is asked for advice. Once your children max out the character values. They are in range to earn a new trait. Whether it's positive or negative depends on the character values. The kids get those special traits with aging up into a young adult. Besides the gameplay being amazing the build buy items are also worth mentioning. Here's a little overview of them.
Tumblr media
Pro Tip: buy your kids toys that will help them work on their character values. Those toys are: the doctor play set, a journal, school projects and ear buds. The cas section of the pack is in my opinion ok. Here is an overview of it:

I hope that you enjoyed the Post if you did like it or reblog it.

Cool Kids play trading card games (Kids Room Stuff Review)
In the Sims franchise after the "lovely" toddler life stage comes what? You're right the Child life stage and it is way less stressful then the previous one. Because you don't have to be afraid that your offspring will be taken away by the social worker. If you don't take care of it. Because Kids can take care of themselves. Good for them I guess πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
On June 19th 2018 The Sims 4 Kids Room Stuff was released on consoles. The pack centers as the name says it about the children/ kid life stage. Like in other stuff packs the main focus is build/buy and not gameplay. But that doesn't mean that there's no gameplay objects. The pack comes with a puppet theater and the voidcritter Battle Station.
Void-what?
Voidcritters are a new collection for your Sims. Voidcritters are trading cards your Sims can either buy or find. Voidcritter even have their own TV show.
But not only comes the pack with a new collection no you get a new radio station as well. It's called Tween pop. The reason why I love this pack so much is the build buy items. They all look incredible colorful and futuristic.
Tumblr media
As in every Stuff pack there are new cas items here's an overview
Tumblr media
I hope you all enjoyed the Post if you did like it or reblog it. If you have any questions let me know. Until then I will see you on the next post until then Dag Dag and remember to always keep Simming and don't forget to save your game πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹

Trendy toddlers aka Toddler Stuff Pack Review
Hey everyone πŸ‘‹I hope you all are doing well. Like I said in my last post today is the day I want to share my thoughts on The Sims 4 Toddler Stuff with you. The 12th Stuff pack of the Sims 4 was released on August 24thAs 2017 on PC. On console it was released on May 22nd 2018. As I mentioned before the main focus of the pack is create a Sim or short cas.
In cas mode there are 1 hairstyle for boys and 3 for girls. That's pretty unfair towards the boys if you ask me but you can remove the gender specific filter of course πŸ˜…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are also 6 tops for girls and 4 for boys.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are 2 jump suites for both genders
Tumblr media
Also in the Pack included are 3 bottoms
Tumblr media
And last but not least both genders got 2 pairs of shoes
Tumblr media
The Pack included also: 3 styled rooms, 6 usable items, 2 rugs, 4 stumps (I know stumps what the) and 1 new social event called play date.
Tumblr media
Nice description isn't it? Incase you wonder "Hmm why does these words sound so familiar to me?" Well it's a reference to the Black Eyed Peas Song "My Humps".
In my opinion...
Cas is the best from the pack.
And this wraps up this weeks post about my Toddler Stuff Review. If you have any thoughts about it let me know. I hope you enjoyed it until next week and remember to always keep Simming

Toddler Stuff + Kids Room Stuff +Parenthood = A Match made in heaven
Hey guys πŸ‘‹ I hope all of you had a good week. As you know by now I love to play with families in the Sims. So I guess that I won't surprise you that I love to use "family focused" packs. And those packs are: Toddler Stuff, Kids Room Stuff and Parenthood.
I personally have categorized each of the packs into 3 categories. Cas, build/buy and gameplay.
The cas Pack is...
Toddler Stuff!!! Why you ask? Well the answer is simple because I mostly use the cas items for my toddlers once they've aged up
The build/buy pack is...
Kids Room Stuff!!! When it comes to furnishing a kids room the name giving pack is my first choice because of it's amazing build buy items.
And last but certainly not least the gameplay pack is as you already know it by now Parenthood.
Parenthood is gameplay wise so good it gives the entire family gameplay so much more depth you can shape the future of your children when they are toddlers already. And so much more also the build buy items are amazing. That's all I want to say for now because during the next 3 weeks I'll give you reviews of all of the 3 packs.
Let me know which 3 packs are your favorites when it comes to cas, build/buy and gameplay
With that being said I will end this weeks post here and will "see" you all next week. Until then have a great week and remember to always keep Simming

How do I handle gameplay in the Sims 4
Hey everyone πŸ‘‹ as you guys know I love to play The Sims 4 especially since console players are getting the same content as PC.
In this week's post I want talk about how I play the game.
Most of the time I play as a female Sim. Because female has the better cas options but that's just my personal opinion πŸ˜…
When it comes to Aspirations I always end up choosing the family oriented ones. Mostly the super parent one.
When it comes to family gameplay I always end up playing the "classical" or if you want to call it the "old fashion" way. Which means the female Sim starts as a single. And meets her significant other. Once the significant other has moved in he or she gets a job and the created Sim becomes a housewife. And later a mom. Who takes care of the children. After the children have aged up into young adults and continue playing with them after I have moved them into their own space. Simply because at the moment there isn't much to do with elders to do with game play wise. So I'm a you could call it "generational Simmer" when it comes to gameplay. So there you have it now you how I play The Sims 4.
If you've liked the post be sure to give it a like and reblog it.
I will all "see" you all next week until then I hope you will have a great week and remember to always keep Simming

Where did my ghost child go? The Sims 3 review pt. 2
Hey guys, this week is time for part 2 of The Sims 3 on consoles. Last week I told you everything about The Sims 3 and Karma on consoles. Today I will tell you everything about Skills and in game challenges.
Skill your Sim to the max
As you know Sims can have a variety of Skills and The Sims 3 is no different. Like the Sims 3 on PC your Sims could earn special perks for the Skills. In example once your Sim has painted over 75 excellent paintings they would be worth more than usual.
Grow a perfect plant!!!
If you have played The Sims 3 you probably remember those random calls from Sims who wanted to have a certain amount of high-quality fruits or vegetables and The Sims 3 on consoles had the same phone calls and let me tell you "It wasn't fun at all" especially when you have just started your own little garden and your produces were only on normal quality.
Speaking of food from time to time Sims could have the Whim to give a Sim their favorite food. Sounds easy right? Well it wasn't really because it could happen that the Sim who should get the food would "friendly" decline it. Mostly when the friendship between the two Sims wasn't high enough.
I had a ghost baby?
And to wrap up this weeks post here's a little "What just happened?" Story of mine.
So I played with a long time save file. It was a Legacy save file but back then I did not really knew what a Legacy challenge was. Anyways I played with a family consisting a mom and her late husband he died of electrocution. I thought:"Hmm maybe they still can have a baby. " So I let them try for baby and it worked. 3 days later the mom gave birth to a little ghost girl she aged up into a toddler but when it was time for the toddler to age up into a kid I got a pop up saying "Your Sim will leave the household and return to the nether realm. I could only accept the pop up so I did and then all of the sudden my kid was gone.
There you have it part 2 of my Sims 3 console review. If you want to know more let me know by liking the post and rebloging it. Until next week remember to always keep Simming

Play with Karma with The Sims 3 pt. 1
Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great week. Today I want to talk about The Sims 3 on consoles. More specifically The Sims 3 on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Because it was also released on wii consoles. So without further or do let's get straight to it.
The Sims 3 was released on October 26th 2010 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Sims 3 takes place in Sunlight Bay. Which is the Console version of Sunset Valley. But what makes The Sims 3 on consoles so special?
Cosmic catastrophes with Karma
For the first time in The Sims franchise you were able to play with Karma.
What means Karma in the Sims 3?
For every wish your Sim fulfilled they earned Karma-points. The limit of Karma-points was 100. There were 2 versions of karma good and bad. There was the "instant beauty" Karma which was categorized as good karma it allowed you to go to create a Sim and give a Sim a makeover. On the other side there was the earthquake karma which caused an earthquake which would cause all objects in the house of the Sim to break. Once you have used karma depending on which side you've chosen either some good or bad bad things would happen randomly. And it had impact on your Sims live as well. Besides Karma you could "upgrade" Sunlight Bay. Which means once your Sim reached level 10 of a career the building were the Sim has worked would be upgraded. For example if your Sim was in the athlete career they would work in a arena once level 10 was reached the arena turned into a gigantic stadium.
And this wraps up part 1 of my review of The Sims 3. Next week there will be part 2 of it so be sure to check it out. As always the source section is down below
Until then have a great week and remember to always keep Simming.

strange stranger STRANGERVILLE: my review of The Sims 4 Strangerville
Tumblr media
Hey guys πŸ‘‹and welcome to a new post today I will give you a review of The Sims 4 Strangerville. Please keep in mind that this is my personal opinion of the game pack. If you have a different opinion than me that's totally fine with me because opinions can be different right? πŸ˜‰ So without further or do let's get started.
A brand new way of Gameplay
The Sims 4 Strangerville was released on February 26th 2019 for PC and Mac. The Console release was on May 14th 2019. It came with 1 Aspiration and one new trait which is the Paranoid trait. The military career came with the Pack as well. But that's not all with the Pack came also a new Death and Emotion.
The Sims 4 Strangerville not only comes Strangerville with a new world no it's also the first pack of the franchise which comes with a "Story Mode" besides The Sims Stories of course. All you have to do to start the Story is to pick the new Aspiration Strangerville mystery you can find it in the Location section of the Aspirations
Let your Sim become a hero
Once you have created your Sim or moved to Strangerville you will notice pretty quick that Strangerville is like the name says it "a little bit" strange because not only the residents act weird but the weather is weird too. It is your Sims "job" to figure out why.
Tumblr media
I will not spoil you the Story just in case you don't have it played yet.
What happens after you finished the Story?
After you've finished the story everything and everyone becomes normal again. Which means Strangerville is basically like every other Residential World in The Sims. You can for example stay in Strangerville and join the military career and protect the City from future dangers.
Is the pack worth it's money?
Well it depends on your play style. For me as storyteller the pack was a must have. The build/ buy items are awesome as well. But the more important question is does the story have different endings? The short answer is no. So if the pack is something for you I don't know. You have to decide on your own if you want the pack or not. In case you want different opinions listen to Under the Plumbob Podcast review of the pack.
http://bit.ly/utpb027
And that wraps up this weeks post. I hope you enjoyed it. If you did like it or reblog it. Until next week and remember to always keep Simming

Happy birthday The Sims
On February 4th The Sims franchise celebrates its 20th anniversary. For me this is a perfect opportunity to "travel" to nostalgia lane and take a look back at The Sims 2 on console.
The Sims 2 was released for PS 2 and Xbox on :Β October 24, 2005 in NorthΒ America and on November 4, 2005 in Europe.
Tumblr media
The console version of The Sims 2 was basically the same as the PC version. It came with wants and fears. (I miss them so much) But it also came with 2 differences to the PC version. The first one was it had a Story Mode. In the Story Mode you had to follow a story and fulfill "golden wants" which were like missions so to say and after you finished it you were done. Which means you couldn't continue playing with the Sim you've played in the story mode with. Sad story I know πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…
Here's an example of a golden want
Tumblr media
The second difference was that you were able to control your Sim directly from the third person perspective.
The gameplay was very fun you could for example craft your own meals. Also the music was so good during the loading screens you had the music of Sims 2 Nightlife playing in the background for example. Even death was no issue for the Sims because once the Sim died you could play as a ghost. But not everything was that great your Sims couldn't get pregnant or get older. So no pregnancy and no aging big NO NO for me. Also we "only" had almost all of the Sims 2 base game Aspirations. Those Aspiration were: Romance, popularity, knowledge and fortune. You also had to complete objectives to unlock build buy items. Then there was also a free mode which was basically the same as Sims 2 just like I mentioned before without pregnancies and aging.
And this wraps up this week’s post about The Sims 2 I hope that you've enjoyed it and if you did like it, share it or reblog it also Plumbella has uploaded a video on YouTube in which she plays The Sims 2 on console I'll link it within the source section.
I will post next week again until then happy simming.

Wishes/Wants or Whims a.k.a What a Sim really wants
Hello everyone, as the title of the post already tells you this week I want to talk about Wants/Wishes and whims in the Sims.
What are Wants/Wishes?
Let's start with Wants, as on PC Wants where introduced in The Sims 2 on Console. Like in The Sims 4 wants are basically the same as whims. Both of them are mostly defined by a Sims personality, traits, skills and relationships The only difference between wants and whims is that with wants also came fears which had a negative impact on your Sim. In The Sims 2 The Sims 2 pets each Sim had different wants that you could fulfill to help their Sims live a happy life. As a reward for fulfilling a want the Sim earned Aspiration Points. Those Aspiration points worked like a kind of currency. Because some items were only available once your Sim had reached a specific amount of aspiration points. Once the want was fulfilled it got re-rolled by a new one. So basically the same mechanic as in later Sims games. If you fulfilled a fear by accident or on purpose your Sim lost a specific amount of aspiration points.
Here you can see an example of the wants and fears panel from The Sims 2
Tumblr media
Let's move on to The Sims 3/ The Sims 3 pets.
In The Sims 3 wants were replaced by wishes. Like I mentioned before the concept of re-rolling a fulfilled want/fear stayed the same. But instead of Aspiration points your Sim gained Lifetime happiness points which allowed you to buy traits like Steelbladder. (This Trait lowers the decay of the Sims bladder motive. So the Sim don't have to use the toilet as much as other Sims.) Instead of Fears the Sim would get negative a moodlet whenever something bad would happen to them. This would cause that the Sim isn't absolutely happy. However if you did not liked a wish he could easily cancel it and let a new re-rolled pop up. In Sims 2 this wasn't possible therefore you could call the Sims psychologist to re-roll all wants and fears.
Here you can see the Wish panel
Tumblr media
And lastly The Sims 4
The Sims 4 has Whims instead of Wants and wishes. In The Sims 4 every Sim has 3 Whim Slots. For each fulfilled Whim the Sim gains satisfaction Points which allow you to buy potions and traits from the reward store. Whims are mostly the same as wants and wishes with one exception and this exception is called emotion. As you may or may not know in The Sims 4 we got introduced to the Emotion System. And those emotions have also an impact on your Sims Whims.
Here's an example of the whims panel
Tumblr media
To wrap up this weeks post I will give you my personal opinion on what I would like to see in the next Sims Game.
I personally would like to see the Wants and Fears coming back to The Sims. Simply because they don't feel as repetitive as the whims. Also the Wants have a bigger variety So I personally think that Wants and Fears are more fitting than Wishes and Whims.
As always I'll post the link to the sources I've used down below.
I hope you enjoyed the Post. If you did please like it, reblog it or comment on it and let me know your opinion.
Until then I hope you will have a great week and remember to always keep Simming

The toughest challenge of all time a.k.a the Completionist Legacy Challenge
Hi you guys πŸ‘‹, Have you ever heard of the Completionist Legacy Challenge? No, then on this week’s post I will tell you all about it. So first and foremost I don't know if this is a real Challenge and if somebody invented it. I basically created it for myself the way I play it
What is the challenge about?
It's basically a Legacy challenge with the twist that the founder/heir has to complete a collection while their spouse has complete a career to finish a generation. I personally combined it with the alphabet legacy challenge. While their Spouse has to complete one career in alphabetical order. For example Gen 1 will start with A while the spouse has to complete the Astronaut Career choosing the Space Ranger Branch.
I personally started the extreme version of it. Which is with 0 money.
Rules:
ResetSim and Moveobjects on are the only allowed cheats.
(if you want to play the extreme version of the challenge you are allowed to set your money to 0 in the beginning of the challenge)
Your founder/heir isn't allowed to move into someone else's household. The partner has to move into the household of the founder/heir. If you should play the extreme version of the challenge you have to remove the household funds of the significant other by using the money cheat.
Your founder/heir has to stay at home and isn't allowed to have a job. They are allowed to earn money from painting, writing or gardening. And not to forget that the founder/heir has to take care of the next heir by raising them.
Goal of the challenge:
Like the Legacy Challenge ends after Gen 10 you successfully completed this challenge as well. However you can keep playing it as long as you want to afterwards.
And this wraps up this weeks post. I hope you don't mind that I was trying something new. I hope you will give the challenge a try and that you'll enjoy it.
If you've liked the post like it comment and reblog it.
Until next week and remember to always keep Simming

The Kids are alright aka Childhood Aspirations in The Sims 4
Hey πŸ‘‹
I hope you all had a good time since the last post.
In this week's post I want to talk about Childhood Aspirations in The Sims 4.
In The Sims 4 you have Aspirations instead of lifetime wishes. And those Aspirations can be fulfilled from Children to Elderly Sims. But for now I want to focus on the Childhood Aspirations. Because as the name says it those are only for Children. Right now there are 4 Childhood Aspiration categories available. Creativity, Mental, Motor and Social. All of them with 3 instead of 4 milestones.
The Creativity one has the Artistic Prodigy Aspiration. Which means that the Sim Child wants to become a little Artist and master the Creative Skill to level 10. The Creative Skill will turn into The Painting Skill once the Child has aged up into a teen. When your has mastered the the creativity They can already learn instruments. Because in the last milestone of it the kid has to practice violin 5 hours. So you better protect your ears. As Reward Trait for completing the Aspiration your Sim will get the Creatively Gifted Trait. Which allows your Sims to gain Creative Skills like Painting, Guitar, Violin etc a bit faster than usual.
Tumblr media
The Mental Childhood Aspiration is called Whiz Kid. In this Aspiration your Kid has to master the Mental Skill which will later be the Logic Skill. As in the Creative Aspiration once your kid has completed the Aspiration they will get The Mentally Gifted reward. Like in the Artistic Prodigy Aspiration your Sim Kid has to craft 3 emotional potions. Let them experiment with the Science Table but be careful though because it might happen that your little Scientists will set your house on fire while using it. You should place it outside of your house just to make sure that your family is safe. At level 10 of Mental Skill your Sims can learn the logic Skill for Example.
Tumblr media
Up next is The Motor Aspiration called Rambunctious Scamp. In This Aspiration it is all about mastering the Motor Skill which will later be the Fitness Skill for example. Once your Sim has completed the Aspiration they earn the Physically Gifted reward Trait.
The Trait gives your Sim a little boost when it comes to leveling up Skills like the Fitness Skill.
Tumblr media
The Final one of the Childhood Aspirations is the Social Aspiration called Social Butterfly. To complete this Aspiration your Kid has to master the Social Skill which will later be the Charisma Skill. At Level 10 of the Social Skill Your Sim is able to start leveling the Charisma Skill. Your Kid has to make 5 friends during the Aspiration too. As Reward Trait for completing the Aspiration your Sim will earn the Socially Gifted reward Trait. This Trait will boost your Charisma Skill for example later.
Tumblr media
As usual here are My "Last Words" about Childhood Aspirations.
The Childhood Aspirations are fun to play with but since the Sims 4 has launched we didn't get new ones. Which is a little bit disappointing because they become too repetitive once you've tried all of them.
And this wraps up this weeks post about Childhood Aspirations. I hope you enjoyed it. If you do like the post please like it share it and reblog it.
As always I'll post next week until then happy simming and remember to always keep Simming

My Wishlist for The Sims 4 in 2020
Hey everyone, Happy belated new year. Today I want to tell you all about my predictions for The Sims 4 in 2020.
With the Arts and Crafts Stuff Pack on the way and the Gallery (finally) coming to consoles I think that we as console Simmers will have a great year in 2020. The last pack which we need to close the gap between PCs and Consoles. This Pack is...
Tumblr media
But what comes after it?
Here is my Wishlist
I would like to see a Gameplay Pack similar to Dine Out just with Resorts and Hotels. And Hobby themed Gameplay Pack
For Expansion Packs I would like to see a Generation Themed Expansion and Farming Expansion.
And what about Stuff Packs?
I really would like to see a Teen Stuff Pack similar to the Kids Room Stuff Pack. And last but not least a Bed Room Stuff Stuff it could include for example Bunk Beds and Murphy Beds the name could be My First Bed Stuff πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ (that pun was intended)
Also I really hope that we'll get more traits. And a free baby update because aren't objects.
And this wraps up the first post of the year 2020.
Let me know what your predictions or What is on your Wishlist

Social groups in the Sims 4 aka Clubs and Organizations in direct comparison
Hey guys, I hope you all had an amazing Christmas.
Today I want to talk about Clubs and Organizations and how they work in The Sims 4. Let's start with the Clubs first. Clubs were introduced with the third expansion Pack Get together.
Tumblr media
With Clubs your Sims have the opportunity to make new friends. They also can gain Skills from it. You can also create your own Club. And add some requirements and rules to the club. If your Sim does certain interactions which are allowed in the Club, you earn Club points. Club points can benefit every Sim who's a member of the club. For example if your Sim is a club leader you can purchase boosts which will help your Sims gain Skills faster. If your Sim is "only" a club member they also can convince the club leader to step down from their role if they have a high level friendship with them. Clubs don't have levels like Organizations
Now that you know how the club system works. Let's see how Organizations work.
With The Sims 4 Discover University Student Organizations were reintroduced. Unlike in the Sims 3 there are no groups like Nerds Jocks etc. Now those groups are called Organizations. Both of the 2 universities have 3 Organizations. There is also a Secret Society as 7th organization but that is a secret so don't tell anyone 🀫🀫🀫
In those organizations you have to fulfill different tasks to rank up your Sims level within the organization. Once your Sims have reached the highest level within the organization they unlock different perks for their later lives for example if your Sim has joined the secret society and has reached the top level the Sim will earn promotions faster than usual.
Tumblr media
If your Sim is for example a student of the University of Britechester he/she still can join the organizations of Foxbury like for example The Bot Servants.
Helpful Hint: If you are playing a Legacy I highly recommend to use the Leader of the Pack aspiration once your Sim has completed the Aspiration they earn more Club points.
And this wraps up this weeks post.
I hope you enjoyed the post. If you did, like it and reblog it or leave a comment.
As always you can find all of the pictures I have used in the Source Section.
I hope to see you all with the next post next week until then happy simming and remember to always keep Simming
