I use the word molly in general for she-cats and queens if they are nursing, pregnant, or permanent queens. I have found that molly is usually used for neutered cats, but some sources do say that it's for cats not being bred or something. In my clans, cats, partially due to humans have developed reproductive lives similar to humans and not every female cat becomes a queen.

Warrior Cats Colour Headcanons

This will be updated weekly with randomly selected Canon cats. This is not accurate to the books and is mostly what I imagine them as. I'm also not trying to be pretentious or act like this is better than Canon descriptions. Trying to make it genetically accurate so if anyone has corrections, feel free to add them in the comments.

Rowankit is a black tabby tom with high rufousing.

Mouse is a black ticked tabby.

Woodlouse is a lilac mackerel tabby tom with high white spotting.

Whiskernose is a chocolate tabby tom.

Birdwing is a black molly.

Sharpclaw is a cinnamon tom.

Splashkit is a blue smoke tom.

Pine that Clings to Rock is a lilac tom.

Ambermoon is a ginger and white molly like her mother.

Barkface is a choclate tom.

Same. I know it’s not accurate at all, but fun to theorize. My brain went to autumn leaves in water so I thought brown and yellow. Specifically ticked torbie. She gets ticked and black from Somali Firestar, and then red from fawn tortioshell Sandstorm. Just going to shoehorn in Squrrielflight as intersex with XY sex reversal.

I love how the warrior cats genetics game is just "YOU GET TO BE TORTISESHELL! YOU GET TO BE TORTISESHELL! YOURE ALL TORTISESHELL"

Hello! Apologies if this is a bad question, but I was wondering if you knew what a chocolate golden tabby would look like or have pictures of any? I think Mothwing would be cool as one(with chocolate sepia point Sasha, and solid chocolate Pinestar).

I'm struggling to find any images of them! Sorry! I know I've seen at least one before but none of my usual places* have any...

That being said, they'll just look like black-goldens but with NO black, their darkest nonagouti being chocolate instead :)

Cinnamon goldens' gold seems to be lighter than black-golden's despite a lack of dilution, so a choc-golden might be lighter too, but choc can get preettty dang dark...so i'd scale the lightness of the golden somewhere between black & cinnamon, based on how dark their chocolate is, leaning towards darker/more black-golden-like.

Starbud is a rufoused rosetted molly with green eyes and a white chest. She is the mate of Darkfish. Her favorite prey is pike and she enjoys training her apprentices. She is 91 moons old and would take over the role of deputy if Willowstream retired. She is feared among apprentices as a strict mentor.

Darkfish is a senior warrior of MistClan. He is a black smoke tom. He holds a strong sense of responsibility, yet is humble. He is currently mentoring Mangrovpaw and is the former mentor of Batface. His favorite activity is sharing tongues with his mate Starbud.

Violetchest is a warrior of MistClan. She is a dark gray molly with a mark on her chest. She is named after her late father, Violetheart. She wants to have kits someday, but is currently too unsure about herself. She struggles with feeling in control and dissociation. She is laid-back and enjoys moonbathing. Her favorite activity is Dawn patrol with the ladies.
