I haven’t had an ask like this in ages - I’m so happy but oh lord - we could be a long time here and I’m just going for pics rather than gifs otherwise this’ll be the longest post in the history of posts since posts began.

I’ve limited myself to 20 (sorry) which is frankly a miracle and I’m upset about all those I missed out - also this order isn’t really an order I just wanted to number them.

Well but tbh I find it weird that the first time we heard about the pre-order is by Amazon and not Louis official website.

I don’t know, plans can change. The album is being sold by Amazon, not a third party. So I have a hard time believing that it’s “fake.”

It’s so incredibly disheartening to see that Lottie’s newborn baby is already part of a promo tool, like are we really suppose to believe the timing of the birth just happen to coincide with this Louis’ album leak? It just all feels so icky, I have always drawn the line on my support when I see innocent children, BABIES…being used for promo. I thought lottie was better than this and seemed so genuine about this pregnancy, but mam this is a real life moment that is suppose to be cherished … not announced for a daily mail article or to get more eyes on your instagram, this is a BABY who should be shielded from this. God It’s just bothered me all day and I had to get it off my chest somewhere :(

I mean… she’s been posting about the pregnancy on her IG from day one. I’m honestly not surprised they’re using the baby for promo at all. Not that I’m happy about it, I’m just not surprised.

Anyway, Louis is dropping LT2. That’s what I’m excited about. I really don’t care about her baby to be very honest.

I don't understand the drama of that DM. People or Larriestwitter do not connect their neurons and they come here to seek help for their imbalance.

i mean the drama is that it appears louis is bitching about larries to a fan (who appeared to be a twarrie/larrie). just more of the same since 2012 but it smarts because when he's singing larry 150+ times during tour and lighting up arenas blue and green and then telling bentley's mom the larrie stuff winds him up it's like talking out both sides of his mouth.

it's just annoying as fuck to have louis or "louis" talking bad about larries while happily taking larrie money and feeding larries with blue/green etc. this particular larrie is tired of always being the fall guy.

After that Bentley’s mum private message, it was so clear how they think making Louis a dad means “no homo”. Why having Larrie on your bio immediately rubs you in the wrong way because your son is your world? Do they even know bisexuality exists? Or how about gay men who have children with women to later on say they’ve always only liked men? Children doesn’t make anyone straight! It’s just like with Louis they always needs something more to make him looks straighter.

I just love the fact that Louis is apparently SO gay you need a crisis team to deal with it, 3 beards, and a fake baby and it’s still apparently not enough.

Sure darling. Sorry this took me so long. I think I don’t have as many high school ones as I do uni, but these are all very good!

Here in The Afterglow by fondleeds (NR, 87K) This author just blows me away each time they share something. There’s such an incredible sense of being immersed in the world they create. This one is so moving and painful and, ultimately, joyous.

Promise In The Sky by Throwthemflowers / @hazzabeeforlou (E, 99K) This one reads like a deeply personal and extremely moving description of what I would imagine life is like growing up in a religious and homophobic community. Beautifully written and painful, but thankfully with a happy ending.

Only One at the Finish Line by objectlesson I’m a big fan of the flipped ABO trope with an Alpha/Alpha storyline. This one is done very nicely, with high school best friends and a very moving confession full of raw emotion (and giving in to “forbidden” attraction).

hush. by wankerville (T, 41K) This author just writes beautifully and this is one of those high school AUs that has lingered with me long after I read it. They capture the longing and want and self-hatred and confusion of being that age and being queer, so so well. BTW, there’s smut in this fic. I’m not sure why it was rated T.

Atlas At Last by louisandthealien (M, 83K) I swear I would read this author’s grocery list. I just love everything they write. This one is a 1970s coming of age road trip fic. I really enjoyed the OT5 friendships, excellent dialogue, and Harry and Louis discovering themselves and each other.

You'll Breathe Me In (You Won't Release) by LoadedGunn (E, 95K) Also known as The Driving Instructor fic. This has some of the best pacing I’ve read in a fic, some really well written BDSM smut, and characters I just really enjoy. I know it’s not for everyone. Read the tags.

Search and Rescue Me by wildhalos (M, 17K) This doesn’t have a big “coming out” as part of the story, but both boys think the other is straight until they confess otherwise. It’s sweet and sexy and a fun read.

Hi, Dea! I'm sorry, I'm on mobile and can't link, but can you analyze "TheHug" from the Sheffield show? Specifically Louis' shrug before they hug. Thank you.

Louis’ shrug was never big deal to me. Why? Because I don’t read it like something negative. I read it like “ok, let’s do it”, like they both expected this to happen and now is the place and time to do this. So it’s not negative or positive gesture, just something neutral “ok, here we are”, “come here then” or “go ahead”.

The hug itself is more interesting to me:

First thing first. Do you see their arms when they are walking in each other’s hug? they are open, ready, familiar… Louis face isn’t tense, he even looks straight to Harry’s face. 

Then the fucking “pull” happens. The pull you ask? Yes the fucking pull. Do you see their grip? Yes? Yes, that very hard, tight grip on each other. The arms with the mics are still and very strongly pressed around each other. Harry’s even jumps by the force. But. Do you see how Harry almost trips at the beginning? How he falls in Louis embrace? Yes, that’s Louis’ doing. His strong force startles Harry and then happens the most painful thing on this planet. He stills. Louis completely stills. The moment he strongly pulls Harry to himself, he stills. Watch it. If you blink, you will miss it. He stills, he is still. He is just there in Harry’s hug. Then Harry starts patting his back, which is very “yeah bro” movement and he starts doing that too. But it’s a tiny bit fake, tiny bit too much force behind that patting, if you know what I mean. The grip and the closeness should tell you how intimate the hug is, yet the pat-pat is camouflaging something, I think they tried to hide the intimacy… (In my opinion.)

Now. Let’s talk about their bodies. The upper parts are very close, heads turned to each other’s necks. Intimacy. 

The end of the hug is a bit awkward, because they get control over themselves. And Harry wants to hide his facial expression with some weird mouth movement. Though his eyes are smiling.

Let’s talk more about their facial expressions. Louis is happy, content, tight lips, smile and closed eyes. I wonder what he is thinking about. And you can see the grip from this angle better too. I think this hug was huge for him, that it meant a lot to him. For him to show to people that yes, he does not hate this boy.

Harry was literally grinning, with his eyes closed too. His face is turned into Louis sweaty neck and shoulder and he doesn’t care. He is happy being just there. The grips on their mics should also tell you how hard they are hugging. Harry’s grip has the gentle aura too, which is almost fascinating to me, because if you look at the video, there is just force. But now. This hug meant a lot to him too. 

Long story short, those are not two enemies hugging, trust me on that. 

Their love is a powerful force.

Honestly the smear campaign media seems to have against Flo right now is one of the worst things to come out of Holivia. Harry’s a big boy and while may not have predicted how bad O was he went into this knowingly. But Flo seems to have some legitimate complaints on Olivia’s work and professionalism but it’s being swept away with this narrative of jealously or just personal dislike. I hate to say it but I honestly wouldn’t blame Flo if she kinda resents Harry for dragging her into this mess.

Yeah, if I were Florence I would legitimately be furious. She’s not the sort of actress who ends up in the tabloids over nonsense like this. I just hope Harry has smoothed things over with her, personally. I’m just so embarrassed for everyone connected to this film.

PR anon, what on earth do you think the strategy is for Holivia??!! It just seems like a car crash 😖//

PR Anon here. It's not a car crash at all. I think it's a good PR campaign almost exclusively founded on gossip. They barely have to do anything and it produces tons of media placements and social engagement. Even if it's bad gossip, it's still good.

Olivia is trying to sell her movie. I suspect she stands to gain an enormous amount of money if the movie does well. It will give her credibility as a female director in Hollywood. She needs to win.

Harry needed a girlfriend for My Policeman. He was entering a new type of career as a leading man. I thought Olivia would be a cover for Harry's House and was surprised when Harry made it clear those songs are not about her. Still there are tons of media placements guessing which songs are about her. The articles write themselves at this point. This is an added bonus of the PR campaign.

The idea of Holivia is to keep their names and DWD in the media as much as possible. Traditional tier 1 media placements like US Weekly, but also gossip sites like Deuxmoi are key. It's all PR. All designed to keep the public interested in DWD and to sell the movie. It's an interesting strategy. I think it's working.

Remember when Olivia was served those custody papers? That was PR too. Who do you think gave that story to the media? Hint: Olivia. Is Jason in on it? If I had to guess, yes. Olivia has to keep the momentum going. There has to be something new to write about - hence the stuff coming out with Florence. I don't think Florence is mad at Olivia. I think she is also trying to sell the movie too.

I do think it is odd how little Harry is doing. If I were Olivia, I would have demanded public appearances at the Oscars, the Grammys, the Met Gala. Big PR opportunities to be seen together and sell DWD. I think he needs to lean in more. His lack of support for her keeps the relationship from looking real.

There's a fair amount of fandom angst that Olivia is ruining Harry's public image. I don't think so. Harry's charm will get him through just fine.

I think they are friends. I do think it will ramp up now that DWD is about to be released. I'm expecting more Italian holiday pics, red carpet events, and lots more gossip headlines. I don't think Holivia will end any time soon unless she is still with Jason (and that's a good PR story too).

Everything about Harry and Olivia is to keep people engaged, talking about their relationship (good or bad), and to keep DWD on your mind. It really is working, don't you think? I hope I answered your question.

*It is possible (but I don't think it's likely) that Harry and Olivia are romantically involved, but all the components of their PR relationship would still stand.

I went through their account and a lot of it isn’t something that I particularly agree with, but this is something that caught my attention. Do you think Flo is doing her part by “showing” she’s a jealous girlfriend/pissed at Olivia and none of it is genuine? I mean I don’t think so, but I’m also fairly new, which makes me wonder if they’re (the pr teams) are capable of playing us to this extent you know? I don’t know if I made sense with this last bit. I agree with some of what they’re saying, but not all of it. And no, I absolutely do not think Florence is trying to sell this movie by joining in on the gossip. It makes her look like a fool. She’s such a well-respected actress that looking like a jealous teenager does her no good. Olivia needs this film to do well. Not Florence. Florence will be just fine. As will Harry. I hope everything Olivia touches turns to dust in her hands.

hello! Why are so many people today saying babygate is real all of a sudden? Did something happen? What happened?

Hi, darling. I’m going to go ahead and make this post with all the info, I’m sure it will be useful for future reference. So thank you for your question 😊

So, earlier this year Louis started to interact with this girl (Tanika) on twitter, she sent him *hundreds* of videos of her 4/5 year old son (Bentley) singing Louis’ songs. The videos are absolutely adorable, the kid is very sweet and clearly adores Louis. The interaction resulted in Louis inviting them to one of his shows (they’re from Australia) and also a facetime call so Louis could talk to Bentley.

She posted several videos of the call - although it was supposed to be a private conversation between them - Louis talking and having fun with Bentley in the videos.

Not long after it, she started to answer questions on TikTok like these:

And she did posted a video of Louis calling Freddie (off camera) and then him asking her to stop recording.

So let’s just stop here for a second to appreciate what happened. Tanika seemed to be a larrie(ish). She posts hundreds of pictures and videos of her kid online to get noticed by Louis, and when she gets a chance to talk to him privately, she also posts a bunch of videos of that. Including Louis talking with “his son” (that conveniently doesn’t appear on the video) just to shut larries up since everyone was saying it was bullshit. Just to prove a point. On the screenshots, she says she immediately “unlarried” after talking to him.

That was months ago. Last week, Louis was finally in Australia and they met, Tanika shared a bunch of pictures of her and Bentley and everything.

And yesterday, these rumours started to spread:

Tanika said that this is a lie and I couldn’t care less about the beef with this other person. But there’s a lot of back and forth and a lot of people being put in hot waters and trying to save their own asses for talking about something they “shouldn’t”.

But there is this one screenshot of what Louis allegedly DMed her, and that’s what made her “unlarrie”.

Tanika (so far) doesn’t seem able to confirm or deny (she confirmed to everyone who asked her privately) whether this message is real, although she seems very interested in knowing where the screenshot came from. Confirming that would put her in a very uncomfortable position, since she would be leaking a “private conversation” about something personal that Louis “confined” her (just like the videos).

The situation is absurd. People seem to believe that out of all the things in the world *the* Louis Tomlinson would confine her and only to her - someone who gained his trust and honest friendship - such a thing because “he doesn’t think people really know how he feels about Larry”. Because, of course, he doesn’t seem able to express that publicly, since he doesn’t stop engaging and encouraging everything Larry related, basically admitting he is in fact larrybaiting.

Personally I’m very inclined to think the screenshot is real, although obviously a huge ass lie. He did call Freddie off camera after all, so IMO this is just one more time being used to push babygate and once again put fans against each other, because they knew she would spread everything about it. This is as old as time, like “the prank call” where people happened to be conveniently recording and all the other times because larry is a load of bullshit. I think he’s very lucky he didn’t come across larries that have been to hell and back when trying to push that shit down our throats, he would have a lot of explaining to do.
