Can we all appreciate this young man here? This man, whose screentime is so little, but he's managed to be way more developed than the white side characters in dbh. We know why he's not into helping androids, he wants to protect his mum, Rose. He's afraid and that's understandable. Hell, I wouldn't be angry if he had ratted Kara and Luther out. He's got a reason to fear for their lives, especially given the relationship between Black peeps with the police force, na mean? If Markus chooses to be pacifist, Adam says he now understands. If Markus chooses violent protest? He doesn't agree with Markus's choice but still wishes the trio a safe trip and that he believes they're alive Plus, he cute. Adam needs more love from the fandom. We don't need to make any excuses for his bigotry, we were given that reason. Plus, he ain't deliberately hurtin androids. He's a good person.

Okay. Here’s a Gardener killer trash-baby and an Entertainment Hive Mind pirates. I just like to think that Ralph learned not to turn any human that approaches him into the fertilizer, and now has a nice garden somewhere. And that amount of Jerry’s could easily tidy up that park, repair stuff and re-open it, so that’s what they did. Ralph helped. Because why not. I decided not to draw the triangle on Jerry’s shirt. I kinda wasn’t feeling like it.

Everyone in fandoms these days wants instant gratification- very few want to put in the time and effort to write a slow burn they might grow tired of writing about before they get to the payoff.

But not us- we live for slow burn and hard-earned love, because they journey getting there is what makes the payoff meaningful. You can’t rush a good story, just like you can’t rush (or force) a well written romance.

That doesn’t mean we don’t also want to see them end up happy before they get there. We still need reminders of where it’s headed once in a while to keep us motivated. #Noriel has become one of my favorite ships because of how they develop, and I really hope you stick around to read and follow the journey 💕 it’s worth the investment, promise.
