hello all! 

i hope you’re all doing well! today i come with an unfortunate announcement. we have discussed and have come to the conclusion that we will no longer be running this blog. with that being said, we will be keeping our icons up and they can be used if you wish. thank you for supporting us thus far!

i hope i don’t sound too stern, but simply resizing and reuploading other peoples’ gifs with a claim of “none of these gifs were made by me” does nothing to actually give credit to the creators. i looked through a couple of the icon collections and i found a couple of my own gifs reposted.. i state in my carrds that i don’t allow reposting unless i’m properly credited

i can’t stop you from reposting. but please considering how discouraging it is for someone to put hours and hours of effort into making gifs only to find that people are resizing and reuploading their gifs with a half-hearted “these aren’t mine” message slapped at the front with no mention of their name. it’s not that hard to properly credit someone or even ASK if you can use their gifs for icons

hello anon, we understand that creators put in a lot of hard work and that simply putting that the gifs aren't ours isn't proper credit. but when making icons some of us are in a zone and tend to forget which blogs we took the gifs from. however, there are some icon packs that do indicate who it is from i know that it should be for every single one but credit is given in some.

as stated before, we get into a zone and tend to forget which blogs the gifs were from. so chances are we were on the tag and didn't click on your blog hence not being able to see your carrd. if you want us to give you credit then tell us who you are and we'll be more than happy to credit you. being anon doesn't help the situation as we can't give credit where it's due.

we don't really go into blogs unless we notice they have an abundance of content that we are searching for. we get all of our gifs from the idols' tags.

we apologize for not properly giving credit to these gif makers and will credit them from now on. and if we are unsure we will be asking from now on as well. with that being said, if any other creators happen upon this post and would like your content credited please let us know.

hey, this is just constructive criticism. but i think you should mention on your posts that a certain fc is a minor in bold. it's uncomfortable to see minors being giffed for rp, let alone gif makers not mentioning their age :( pls dont take this as hate, i do love your resources so much. thank you for your work <3

we mark it clearly on our directory, however the posts themselves were overlooked; i will try to go back and mark posts where the fc is currently a minor and make that clear. i will make sure to mark things going forward as well.

however, it is not our responsibility to curate the content you want to see. we absolutely do not condone using minors as fcs/characters in inappropriate situations, and i think we’ve made that pretty clear. minors can be used in rp in non-problematic ways, and most portrayals are just that. many in the rp community are minors and want to play characters/fcs that they connect to. i understand your position, however it it makes you uncomfortable, it might be best to unfollow, or mute certain words in xkit so those packs don’t show up on your dash.
