You are most likely referring to the animation trailer. Sadly, it seems like the animation might be largely cut from the project. It was meant to replace gameplay with the YouTube control system, but now we're working on new systems to make the game actually playable. It is in our plans to tone down or remove all flashing. For example, at the end of the genocide route, when Chara jumpscares you, the screen flashes between red and black. For Undertale Accessibility, the screen will slowly fade once from black to red instead.

Ah, well maybe that's something you can inquire / discuss with @undertale-accessibility about rather than me, eh?

You're welcome! Making those sprites was a genuinely fun experience for me. I also have @lazydust91 's editor, GoldenFurredFox, to thank for the base of the deltarune version. They did an excellent job of adapting my original Undertale Joyce sprites to be taller.

I've got the first part of my blind playthrough of Deltarune Chapter 3 ready to view!

Big thank-yous to @aarons-ramblings / @undertale-accessibility for animating the intro sequence and the gifs I used in the ending, as well as @shigg315 for the new Joyce "emojis", which I decided to showcase in my thumbnails for this series! 😁 Next episode comes out in 2 days!

In real time, I actually just finished Chapter 3, and am currently an hour into Chapter 4. Gonna pick it back up again after the weekend, so no spoilers please!!!

Do you ever do anything special for Memorial Day? We're having pancakes for breakfast and barbecue for dinner (I know you would only like one of those things)

Also, 9 days until Deltarune! (The newsletter said June 5th Japan time which is June 4th at 11am EST)

Hmm, I don't have any particular tradition associated with that day. Pancakes sound great though.

And I know, I'm super excited for Delta-June to begin! I bought myself a brand new laptop to play it on, and it's supposed to arrive tomorrow! I can't wait to unbox it and start loading it up with all the programs I need to do my video work. (I've had my current laptop for several years, practically my whole YouTube career, and I love it so much, but it's been showing its age lately and I figured what better time to get an upgrade?

Nope. And it bugs the heck out of me. Yes, she messed up, but she isn't a complete fraud. She did use the scientific method for everything she did in the true lab. Her hypothesis was just wrong.

She still built Mettaton’s bodies, even if they weren't fully autonomous. She upgraded a phone to include texting functionality, a jetpack, a way to change the abilities of a human soul, and not one, but TWO dimensional boxes.

Also, she is arguably a better actor than Mettaton. It's clear that everything Mettaton does is an act, but when he reveals Alphys's part in it, it comes as a genuine surprise.

Entry Number 11 is proof that Sans did not write half of the true lab entries.

Some people have theorized that Sans wrote about half of the entries in the true lab. Their reasoning is that some entries don't use proper capitalization, similar to Sans's dialog. However, entry number 11 does not use proper capitalization, but is clearly written by Alphys. She writes about her work on Mettaton’s body, and how she fears she will become useless to him if she finishes. Sans never worked on Mettaton, and wouldn't care about becoming obsolete. The lack of capitalization does not indicate a different author. It indicates Alphys's stress level.
