Underfloat
Anything not nailed to the ground floats some monsters float forced to live on the ceiling others are stuck to the ground separated from their fellow monsters.
The Ruins are the easiest to navigate being small tunnels and tight turns it makes it easy for those stuck on the ceiling and those on the ground to interact along with their being not much environmental danger. Some loose rocks and stone float in the air along with vines who curl upwards.
Snowdin is a bit of a nightmare to live in.
I’ll finish this later but either way I thought of this Au with waterfall in mind

UnderHallow
A mix of Halloween, Candytale, and UnderFell.
The entire Au is built around being as frightening as possible and scaring children for their souls but underneath they are surprisingly gentle.
The Ruins are called Haunted Halls imagine a Haunted House. Monsters popping out scaring you and pulling you into battle.
Snowdin is called Festival Town it’s Forest are covered in pumpkin patches and twisted wicked apple trees. Once you get to town you can go apple bobbing, paint or carve your pumpkin, eat yummy food from stands, etc It’s more of a place of celebration then scaring people except for the haunted woods challenge which Papyrus and Sans put you through.
Waterfall is Mazefall on account of it being covered in corn and bring a corn maze but also all of the waterfalls monsters are really bad at coming up with names. It’s a race to escape as Captain Undyne tracks you down.
Hotland is Rocky Rides it’s little thing is the fact that you travel by hayride the area is actually dark most of the time except for the glimpses of blinding light you get mainly of important places like the Core.
New Home is Tricky Home they spend a lot of time making candy, playing mean tricks, and giving out treats. Fun but dangerous.
Monsters instead of puzzles care more for scaring others, haunting, jumpscares, etc.
This entire idea was sparked by me imaging a dark Candytale Papyrus whose scarf either looks or is black licorice.

TerraTale
The planet is entirely covered in earth. Humans live in underground cities with giant skylights from pockets in the earth. Their greatest desire is to go to space to find a different planet to live in as it’s tough as it is now.
Monsters were stilled banished underground but even deeper a world of complete darkness their is barely any light and a whole bunch of water coming from many different sources. The Ruins were once tunnels and mines and are called The Tunnels. Snowdin is called Sleeted Forest the snow ends up melting because of the intense moisture and constant rain turning the grounds into an unpleasant mix of ice, water, and snow. Waterfall is called Aqua City the entire town is under water I imagine it to be like ponyo but darker or like the one anime about mermaids. Hotland is called Steamsprings it’s the brightest area in the underground with underground lava sources supplying power to other places in the underground. Finally, Fallen Home it’s the only place where some natural light manages to slip through mainly from all the rivers and waterfalls above the entire city is built inside a giant drop shaft with multiple levels inside the drop shaft the higher you go the closer change you have of reaching sunlight. The drop shaft continues much farther down and the deeper parts are filled with a lot of water and connect back to Aqua City.

UnderEden
Monsters and Humans both died out centuries ago now the planet has been taken over by nature practically a paradise of plants.
it’s under watch by Nightmare gang being an Au they have under their control. It’s mainly used for meetings with others, relaxation, and vacations. A small pavilion was built on a hill surrounded by flowers that Killer takes care of. It’s one of Nightmare favorite places to drink tea and meet with allies.
