Uneako is an amalgamation of “Unique” and “Eco”, meaning that we provide eco friendly and sustainable products in a never seen before avatar. We are aware that saving the environment is the need of the hour and we; through our products, are contributing our bit towards the cause. Our motto, “Sustainability is the only way to a better future”, is reflected in all our products and innovations.

Our company was envisioned by two brothers whose dream was not only to create unique products for people but also spread the message of sustainability and care for the environment. Thus, Uneako was born; making products which engulf the needs of the people along with doing their part to make the environment more suitable for the future generations.

There is no doubt that plastic waste is amongst the leading causes of the climate catastrophe we are experiencing around the world these days, from the fatal forest fires in Australia to the melting of the great glaciers of Antarctica. In fact, it has been reported that 60% of the plastic waste starts off from the daily use products we discard in our household garbage. That’s why, here are at Uneako, we’ve decided to compile a handy list of sustainable alternatives for the plastic riddled office utility products we rely on for our productivity. So let’s get together and share sustainable happiness in replacing the plastic in our homes and offices with these renewable substitutes.

Plantable Notebook

Uneako’s plantable notebook is made with recycled paper and contains recycled sheets inside also. The cover of the notebook further contains seeds from various different plants, that you can bury in any soil which would later grow into your own plant, once the notebook is full!

Pens and Pencils

The regular pens and pencils we purchase from our nearby stationary shops use single-use plastics such as polystyrene for the barrel of the pens and polypropylene for the tips. Once we’ve thrown these pens away, their plastic bodies are extremely detrimental for the organisms in oceans and rivers who end up choking or starving due to the small plastic bits. Uneako has developed an ecological alternative, as our pens and pencils are made from wood waste and they contain seeds at top of the bodies that can again be implanted in any pot or soil and slowly but surely replenish the lost greenery in our surroundings.

Clear Folder  

Everyone goes through the same dilemma, you keep losing the loose sheets you’ve made important notes in and would like a nice folder to collectively store them in, however, the Clear Folders we are so fond of since primary school are actually made of single-use plastic which, again, litters our surroundings, and not to mention pollutes the land and sea alike. Uneako’s paper folders are a great sustainable alternative, extremely durable, as well as being effortlessly chic and cheeky with the tag line “I am not a Clear bag but my intentions are very clear” printed on top!

Entrepreneur Diary      

The diaries and journals we regularly rely on to organize our hectic schedules are not always made of biodegradable materials, especially on the covers, which further contributes to the harmful cause of climate change. Undeniably, one of the best contributions we can make to heal our environment from further climatic catastrophes is to ensure we do our best in making the surroundings as comfortable and habitable for other animals around us as we’ve made them for ourselves. Therefore, undeniably, one of the best ways we can achieve this aim is by using Uneako’s bird feeder to protect birds from mistaking garbage for food and instead, feed them nutritious food in their own biodegradable food feeder!
