Why People Abuse | Inside The Mind Of An Abuser
youtube
1. Due to growing in a petty environment where abusers had experienced or seen abuse happening nearby,
Abusers think that this is the way to be powerful, moreover one who can control (esp financially) is normally powerful.
They have least self worth within and so they try to gain through external abuse to the victim.
2. Due to facing emotional neglect from childhood, they feel so lonely and desperate. They fear to be abandoned. Therefore they overcontrol possible in every way or the other like accessories to dress length to meeting with closest parents and friends and farthest guests or strangers.
3. They feel guilt at some point of time(maybe when their head is little cool), so they become overemotional, apologizing, promising, giving presents like flower- it's because they feel same insecurity and rejection as they felt in childhood. So they try to impress the victim so that victim doesn't leave them.
But again when they can't tolerate their head, they act like a demon again, forgetting all promises. And the best fact that all this is happening in their subconscious mind, where they act so automatically . Therefore,it takes a very long time to change."

Why Do Abusive Parents Deny the Abuse Ever Took Place?
Need the uno reverse card for this. I think it is making fun of the parents age making an old person look unhinged and bad. To themselves too. Washed up old hag

The problem is that this sub is incapable of arguing with socialists and communists without understanding the language games they employ, so end up looking like turnips when trying to debate their philosophy with them.

For me it was a mix of financial and personal issues, the rising costs of PC hardware just keeps on rising to the point where I have to seriously consider if the PC platform is financially sustainable to upkeep. Mix in the financial cost with driver issues, buggy development of games, and the incredible loss of time this will quickly become a nightmare for those who are not technically inclined.
Personally speaking, after spending so many years in the so called "PC Master Race" , I realized that gaming was never the main goal for me, (I suspect this to be same for many others as well) it was a race to get best the hardware whenever available, and so began the gear acquisition syndrome. After dumping a crap load of money on hardware that I clearly did not need for many years, I had an epiphany, most of the games I played was on the Playstation platform which greatly killed my PC spending.
To be fair, as games are now multi-platform, its not the gaming platform of choice that pushed me away from gaming as a whole but the craptastic quality of most games now. Everything is copy and pasted from past titles with no innovation and loaded with micro transaction galore. Then there is the painful realization that I wasted most of my youth facing a screen instead of making social connections which would have most likely led to a happier life.

I'm about to turn 21 this month. I've only ever got to celebrate one birthday in my entire life, the 5th. It was never a big deal for parents. Never had a party, no surprises. Can't say I didn't get jealous of the people around me but as I got older it stopped bothering me because I didn't expect anything from anyone anymore. I've always found it difficult to fit in anywhere so I pretty much grew up lonely and without close friends.
So for the last few years I've been splurging on myself with stuff I wouldn't usually have done/gotten otherwise. For my 19th, I started taking photography more seriously and have been pretty satisfied with it so far. I've wanted to learn skateboarding for a long time cos it's a non existent sport/hobby here so I got myself a Penny for my 20th (Never too old to learn new things ig). Feels pretty good to be the only one in my area to own a skateboard ngl :3 For my 21st I wanna get myself a book about graffiti (which is also pretty uncommon here) and start practicing.
I do love surprising other people tho. It feels great to just make someone's day a bit better and make em feel special. I often make sketches/portraits of people and gift em on their birthdays (acquaintances/people on the internet as well as people irl). It makes me feel like I've made a difference.

Yeah, this is my experience too. I've had one female dog in my life that wasn't temperamental. The one I'm taking care of now is a nightmare. All my other dogs have been males and they were easy going, goofy, got along better with other animals, and easier to train. I feel this way pretty much across the board about most animals I've had, honestly. Cats, dogs, horses, I'd rather have males. The only exception being sheep and goats. The boys are dickheads.
But, that said, every animal is different and personality will vary.

More than maintenance mode it is capital and control maximization mode. Google leaked a video called The selfish ledger a few years ago, that's probably what they are working at. Dumb and uninformed people are much easier to control and influence
