Hey guys,  I am asking for help getting through this month and I desperately need your help to get groceries and keep my water and electricity on. My son and I haven’t been able to get enough formula we were declined WIC and I’ve been rationing milk and rice so I really could use help getting food for kahlil.
I’ve been struggling a lot these past few months and I have regularly skipped on eating (often for several days in a row) to try and make ends meet due to losing my job at the salon, I have struggled with bill payments and getting groceries/household supplies with absolutely no income, I could use anyone and everyone’s help in boosting/donating to my post so that I won’t lose him to social services. I have to have food in the house and utilities turned on by the end of this week or my parental status will be revoked.
If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just $1, it would literally save my life and sharing definitely helps just as much a donations and nobody has to donate if they can’t or don’t want to, thank you.💖

god and grief
hi. it’s been around two months since some of the worst loss i’ve experienced in my life happened, and i think i can step back from it enough now to talk about what it did, and is doing, to my relationship with God.
i think the thing i felt most right after my loss was alternately anger at the fact that God had left me in this place and relief that i had someone to be angry at for it. i spent a lot of time yelling at Him, and a lot of time praying for the hurt to lessen. i went to church and cried at the marian shrine and lit the stupid electric candles and resented mary and joseph and the disciples, because at least what they lost was resurrected.
grief will shake your faith. it will do so in unseen and unexpected ways, and you will spend weeks afterward not connecting the two dots. it will force you into the uncomfortable realization that you are not sure that the doctrine of heaven is real. you will say the rosary to the sense of absolutely nothing there, and you will cry doing it. you will walk into church and have to walk back out when they pray for the deceased because the old lady next to you shouldn’t have to listen to you sob. you will flip to the pages your bible suggests you read “when going through grief” and the words will be meaningless. you will go to therapy and awkwardly smile while talking about the most horrific thing that’s ever happened to you. you will measure out time minute by minute and you will eventually be far enough away from your loss that you can write a post about it on tumblr and not break down doing so. you will learn to do things in spite of the fact that it feels like the world should have stopped 61 days ago.
God is still there, waiting for you, and one day you will feel His love again and until then you can still lie in his infinite grace and know that He will always be there, and God may have broken you but He will put you back together again, piece by piece, and you can and will fall in love with Him again, and you can be happy and not feel bad about it and you’re allowed to yell at him, too, and you will get there eventually, the same way i will, and eventually you will see how far you’ve come but until then you’ll have to trust in Him and know that He still cares for you so, so much.
