I’m currently getting The Greek and Latin Education and while my grasp of Latin is fine my Italian is absolutely abysmal. Like, to an embarrassing extent. So when Tedesco was yapping I understood NOTHING unless he was speaking in Latin, at which point I would turn to my (physicist) friend and be like “he just spoke Latin! :D” and my friend would ask if there was something clinically wrong with me

for most of the movie I was disappointed because I was like “a bunch of old men isolated?? How are there no technical difficulties come on now” and when the photocopier showed error I straight up cheered in the movie theater

watching the first episode of TNG while only having basic knowledge from the fandom is sooooooo funny because Q is shown as this all-powerful entity that could kill everyone in an instant and I am just acutely aware that every other Q episode to come will be him appearing to be a silly little guy and annoying picard and everyone else thinking “I know what you are”

The horror I felt when I realized in like Episode 2 of Criminal Minds Hotch talks to Gideon about how young Spencer is for a genius and Gideon responds with “Imagine what he’ll know by 50” and then we find out SEASONS LATER his mother has early onset dementia and that can be inherited and im going to think about this Forever

Hotch is one of my favorite characters because whenever there’s an episode with misogynists, homophobes, racists, or any other bigots he looks like he is exercising ALL of his willpower to not pummel them into the ground. He is five seconds away from committing police brutality and I love it. If he wasn’t so well trained in bureaucracy I guarantee you Hotch would’ve killed more people than most of the UnSubs combined
