thinking so much about voices and sneezes

someone with a soft voice, but a harsh sneeze or a dominating voice, but delicate sneeze

a deeper voice, with a high pitched/whiny sneeze or a squeakier voice, with a huskier sneeze

when it's such a vocal sneeze that you can clearly hear their voice in it or when you wouldn't in a million years guess the two would match

when someone just sounds like their sneeze, it just matches them or when it's almost the polar opposite of who they are/how they sound

when there's a vocal/pronounced buildup, but they're soft spoken/shy or when they are loud and extroverted, but stifle almost silently

just... just voices and sneezes... thinking all of the thoughts about voices and sneezes

I like a little spray as much as the next girl, but can we talk about how…exciting? It is to see a girl sneeze into a tissue

The way her nose emerges a little red from behind the tissues, the way she rubs her dripping nose with the tissue, the way the tissue waves at the air and force from her sneeze. The way her voice is slightly muffled, the way she sniffles and sighs, throwing the tissue away only to need it again a second later.

springtime is upon us in my city and it’s been a horrendous time for all of us hayfever victims. but you know what that means: i get to give my poor little nose the relief it deserves AND let you all in on the process. how fun!

in the spirit of me posting again for the first time in a while, i thought i’d grace snzblr with the visual of someone hypothetically waiting in line for a concert at an open venue in the middle of a garden… in the middle of the worst hayfever season in years for their city… with no antihistamines… and intermittently sneezing every couple of minutes because the pollen count is SO BAD… directing them downwards into themselves because they’re in a crowd of people… clutching at the tissues in their pockets… and it also rains at some point in the open venue and they’re drenched and sniffling and itchy…

hypothetically, of course!

#1 for me is people who cant properly stifle but still always try to do it anyway

this tells you that the sneeze is really strong 

becomes a case of their body controlling them despite their attempts for control in the first place

usually means the person has some sort of hang up about control/image/politeness

the little sigh/frustrated groan/“choo” that comes afterward

means a person has a variety of at least 2 sneeze sounds: the “polite” version and the normal, unrestrained version (rare)

manners/attempts at politeness are really hot

it also implies awareness/thoughtfulness about sneezing, because you have to think about sneezing to try and change the way you do it

the sound of a partially-stifled sneeze is really good, point blank, period, end of story

when someone fails to hold back a sneeze it usually comes out a lot more dramatic and intense sounding than a simple achoo or whatever, which draws attention during circumstances where that person was trying to avoid it

sorry for being h*rny but im thinking abt a woman putting her arms around me from behind & pressing her face into the place between my neck and my shoulder ... so i can feel her breath waver uncertainly against my skin as she nuzzles into me, trying & failing to rub away a building tickle. & hear her moan softly with irritation, then hitch softly in my ear. & feel her jerk & involuntarily clutch me tighter as she stifles against me 🤤
