I love the weird younger brother older sister dynamic going on between Maxwell and Van. Like I truly think Gotch’s problem was that he only had brothers when what he needed was a volatile older sister to be a brat with.

They’re arguing over who can punch better and harder and when they both get Nat 20’s Max is pissed and they both think they can beat a brachiosaurus and they want ALL the weapons not just some of them, but most important of all they both have a thing for short strong men.

ventured into the cloudward ho tag and it is allllll about maxwell for some reason so just need to say right now I LOVE montgomery lamontgomery. favorite character by far. he loves animals and gets excited every time he sees them!! his little buddy is a t-rex and his hat has paintings on it he made himself. he’s an adventurer AND a writer and we see both sides the way Lou plays him. you can see his wild past flying with the windriders but also the diplomacy and comfort he’s gained in his glamorous later years. Unironically the character I would hang out with the most but ALSO the most fun for me to watch

I find it so funny how the general attitude towards Comfrey started as “mysterious adventurer lost to time, girlboss of the ages who cannot be stopped” and as more and more episodes have released, it’s quickly become “what the fuck is up with you. Who are you. What have you done. Pop off though, but what are you doooiiiing?”.
