“The Barbarian and the Troll” is a new Nickelodeon show which is generally cute but like most human achievements will probably never be as funny as this one scene ever again.

I can’t stop thinking about crocodiles for some reason so here’s some cool pictures I found of probably the second largest one in captivity, his name is Utan:
isn’t he beautiful
listen to the SOUND when he bites
youtube
and that’s not even a real power bite, that’s mostly just heavy bone falling on heavy bone from his jaws and the air rushing out from between them

actually because this is coming up in reblogs of my Ludinus posts I am going to clarify something: yeah I think Bells Hells and the Mighty Nein going against Ludinus is indeed sort of contrived but like. that's because Campaign 3 was a pileup of unearned circumstances and you kind of have to fudge everything to make it work after that ending anyway so like, given C3? it's literally fine. Like, yes, you have to do all the work yourself. I myself have an unfinished fic in which Ludinus is quietly killed with no fanfare and drama, and I'd go so far as to say in some ways, I prefer it like that. but I think you can construct the setup of like, Caleb, Allura, and Keyleth addressing Vasselheim and saying "yes Bells Hells did not stick to the plan, and what they did drastically disrupted the lives of many people who had helped them and trusted them, and then they brought Predathos into Vasselheim which was a dick move to be sure, but hey, Ludinus is still out here, so what if they show that their intentions were not to betray or harm, but rather to find a compromise, and this is all ultimately a communication breakdown and you being justifiably upset at the gods leaving but they're still here actually just in a different form, and the Mighty Nein, who did such a great job with the Weave Mind, are going to go with them," and the relevant people in Vasselheim are like "yeah sure if they kill Ludinus for real they can never come back here, but we'll leave them alone."
Like, at some point you just have to say "look, we cut the pieces so badly that instead of making a haute couture ballgown as intended we can only make a kitschy beach cover-ups" but once you accept you're going to at best get a beach coverup, you can embrace it, have fun, and accept that you are still achieving the goal of having clothing. I think embracing that mentality for any post-C3 Bells Hells-centric works does a lot.

I know Matt decided to split the party as two Nein Hellz parties so we could get a bit of bells hells and a bit of mighty nein in both live shows.
But part of me wonders if he still is haunted by how efficiently the Nein floored the weave mind, and went “if this has to stretch between two live shows i HAVE to split the Nein”
