I saw someone say that there aren't enough Dean girls in the wincest fandom on Tumblr anymore, and let me say as a Dean girl - facts. We don't use this site. It's unbearable. The (derogatory) Hellers have pushed us off. Every time I try to look at Wincest things here, I just get my feelings hurt. I stopped years ago.

I recently joined XHS and posted about this because SamDean is the main ship in China and everyone is welcoming and accepting of all pairs. It was such a complete change from here, that it made me interested in fandom again. I'm writing again. I actually cried because I felt so accepted. Afterward, I made the mistake of getting back on here, and I will not be staying except to look at the occasional edit or post my fic to the tag.

Religious extremism has poisoned almost every facet of Western life, to the point where it has also ruined fandom. The gross moralizing about fictional people is insufferable and indicative of much deeper issues in America and Europe. I don't care if I have to use bad translation tools for the rest of my life. I would rather interact in fandom spaces that don't tell me I'm disgusting and going to hell with every other post when I search.

So that's why you don't see Dean girls shipping wincest anymore. We do-just in private or with our Chinese friends.
