The starter horse and more basic low-level gear gives me a lovely sense of nostalgia. ❤️

Star Stable x The Witcher

I'm almost finished Wild Hunt for the first time and I'm not ready for it to be over, so I decided to see if I could put together a vaguely Yennefer inspired cosplay in SSO. I had to work with the clothes that I had- and if only we could change our eye colours!- but I kinda like the result

a place of innocent wonder, honestly, I have enough angst in my real life lmao

no hate to people who want angst, I agree I love angst, but sso is essentially my ONE place of 'just be a little girl with her horses' where bad things can't touch me

so are you guys the "jorvik is such a place of wonder" kinda person or are you the "imagine the amount of carnage and angst that is actually occurring in jorvik that sse is just not gonna put in their game because they want to market it to kids" type of person?

I don't rightly remember, but it was one of the UK servers- possibly Snowflake Island at the time but I used to jump about a fair bit. But if it wasn't me that you did this for, I still appreciate it and I'm sure the other person does too. Thank you for showing me/them how gates work

Probably the most embarrassing moment of my Star Stable career was when I couldn't work out how to open the gate to the pig pen on Sunfield Farm. I just kept running and jumping at it, thinking I must have been doing something wrong, when another user silently came over, dismounted, opened the gate for me then mounted their horse and left again without a word. I think about it daily

The mare was still running around in the paddock, even though it was now the middle of the night. She really didn't want to be in there.

Wynonna sneaked out to see the mare, whom she had named Ginger in her mind. "I know you don't want to be in there. You want to be free."

Ginger seemed grateful that Wynonna was willing to free her, and she let herself be petted. After a moment where she seemed like she wanted to run, she had that magical moment in all the horse girl stories where the girl and the horse just ✨connect✨.
