So, something really funny about Face-off nodes in IS5 is that when you place an operator on a selection platform if they have an ability that triggers on entry, then it activates when placed of a platform. Even better, on the very rare case that they have a retreat ability/animation, then THAT will trigger when the stage shifts over to the battle portion.

That means if you choose Ela as one of your combatants, she EXPLODES on the shift. Which is very funny.
