I’m telling you, even if you’re not a football fan, you should watch the World Cup. There’s sooo much drama. There are underdogs winning. There are great memes. There are coaches who are funnier than any tv show you’ve watched. There are arguments on the field that almost end in blood. There are nations becoming friends because they both want to see the same nation gone. There are friendships breaking and forming. There are people rolling 90 meters in the field because someone touched their hair. There are players swearing - a lot. And there are some moments that are just so absurd you can’t even beliebe what you’re seeing. It’s so much more than football.
World Cup is the prime of entertainment.

World Cup is great and all but do you know what I miss on this beautiful Monday morning?
I miss the lush green of the Old Trafford grass, the fans rising up in song, Dave’s hair flowing in the gentle breeze, Pogba’s field goal attempts, and the quiet collective no whispered into the air when the apparition of Fellaini appears warming up on the sidelines.

Meet Mark Bosnich, the first and only Australian to have played for Manchester United.
Bosnich came to England in 1989 from Australian club Sydney Croatia however he played only 3 games until 1991 before going back to Australia.
He returned to Manchester United in 1999 after spending 8 seasons at Aston Villa to replace departing goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel. He was a regular first choice goalkeeper in the 1999/2000 season as Manchester United retained the Premier League title by 18 points, a record at the time. He left in 2001 to join Chelsea.
Fun fact: He is the ONLY player Sir Alex Ferguson has signed twice despite being labelled as the ‘worst professional’ he has ever worked with. LOL wow!
But he is one of only three Australians to have won the Premier League, along with Robbie Slater with Blackburn Rovers in 1995 and Mark Schwarzer in Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea in 2015 and Ranieri’s Leicester City in 2016 despite not even playing a single minute in both those seasons.
