  pearl couldn’t deny within herself that she was nervous. it’d been countless hours of silence, and she could think of nothing to get pink to smile. every time her diamond make a comment, she would respond accordingly and thoughtfully- and she would frown. it was ... confusing. her purpose was to make her diamond happy. could she be doing something wrong?

  pearl snuck another glace at her radiance, her hands politely clasped in front of her skirt. and boldly, scooted a little closer. it was a unprecedented act she was about to perform that no other pearl would dare to do- but they were not pinks pearl.   it was against everything she knew, but she was going ....... to stand NEXT to pink diamond. the scandal! but her diamond was spontaneous and bold, so perhaps if she was to act like her ... it’d bring her closer to doing her job right.
