AU: Vampire

Mira is the leader of her vampire coven. The main officers of her coven are a mix. Mira forgot when she died and when she rose, but she was a pirate. She does not remember who sired her, but she feels a sheer animosity towards them. As a result, she feels antagonistic toward anyone, immortal or mortal, trapping another person into a different lifestyle than what they are used to.

As a result, she is often considered an Anathema of her kind.

She can walk in the sunlight. When she was 150 years and younger she could not walk in the sunlight. (Most importantly here folks, she does not sparkle. Real vampires don't sparkle.)

Abilities: As coven leader, she is able to give her coven mates the ability to be just as strong under a full moon as a new moon. She has the usual abilities of a vampire. She likes garlic, looking at crosses makes her laugh, and she can appear if she wants to on reflective surfaces. She manipulates darkness and darker aspects of the classical elements.

Telltale signs of her vampiric nature include her eyes glowing and her skin seemingly does glow in the moonlight. In Sunlight, she always carries around sunscreen even in the winter time (100 spf). There can never be enough sunscreen. She is still sensitive towards it.

I thought about this for a while, but I think I'm going to take a step back from Tumblr roleplaying for a while. I will be on discord, so if we haven't interacted, we can interact there. I think I'll check in periodically but I just don't know what to do.

Sabo swallowed hard, the creature before them was intimidating. Scaled and fanged, it wasn't what he'd pictured the majestic dragon to be. Turning to Miyuki, he took a deep breath and asked, "Are you ready?"

While Sabo watched the creature with uncertainty, Miyuki grinned. Blue-green eyes looked as if they glowed. She reached underneath her poncho for her swords, and carefully drew them out. She loved fighting enemies that are stronger than her, the stronger she would become if she fought them. The brighter her soul shined in battle.

"Yeah, I'm right with you!" she told Sabo.

She activated armament haki and watched as her arms and sword blades turned black with a bluish tint. She felt her flesh harden, and did the same to her legs and boots.

"The quicker we get on its back and in its blind spot, the better," she said. "Its scales are sharp, but underneath... should be the softer ones."

what inspires you when making your ocs?

There is always a little piece of yourself in the OCs. So, what I do is place a little thing about myself. Crim has a soft spot for redheads. Miyuki likes rootbeer floats and ice cream. Mira likes chocolate. The meteorologist likes blue greens. Nerissa likes daiquiris. Simple things like that.

I'm not sure what comes first the name or the appearance of the muse. I take from mythology and whatnot. If there's something really cool I'm sure a character would do and it makes sense for them to do so, I'll take that? Bits and pieces until I created a character.

Then comes the hard part, finding names that suit the OC. Still haven't found one for Meteorologist. One day. Music also helps me greatly when creating characters. I'll have to play as an OC before I can get a really good feel for them.

This is a little embarrassing, but I also act out some scenes for them to get a feel for the character as well. With time, they come into their own.
