That whole nostalgic bullshit they pulled and the lamenting what could’ve been hurt like a BITCH goddamn

So, I’m not the *hugest* fan of how Love Alarm season two ended. Cinematically speaking, it was a wonderful arc. The character development was beautiful, the visuals were amazing, and where the show went was really well done. However, because I’m a little bitch, I can’t accept that what I wanted to happen didn’t happen, and because of that I will be crying into my pillow tonight and also probably binging an old comfort series. Thank you for coming to another episode of M’s Opinions Which No One Asked For.

Okay so it’s been like three years since I posted this and now I have more things to say

• The Vackers still are not white (Della is 100% black and you will not change my mind on that)

• The representation in this series is exceptionally lacking (and yet I can’t stop reading it)

• Also the “blue-eyed elves are superior” thing is... iffy....

• The Song twins are pretty much just caricatures of Asians and nothing more (they “looked like K-pop idols”??? Really?)

• (The previous point is especially relevant because of the many anti-Asian prejudices and hate crimes coming to light at the moment)

• It’s 2021. Elves have been around for oh so very long. These kids are around the “figuring out my sexuality” age. It would be very nice to have at least one gay character

• (That being said, Linhella and Solinh are exceptionally valid and I’d die for them... though I will admit that I am a diehard Sokeefe fan)

• Fucked up for what Alden asked of Keefe, a literal 16(?)-year-old boy, to do in the short story

• Keefe needs a hug

• Sophie has gotten much better at setting boundaries and regulating her emotions and how much she should forgive and all that

• Literally FUCK Fitz all my homies hate Fitz

• Biana is still not straight

• Marella should be allowed to say fuck

• WHERE THE FUCK IS DEX? (Still!)

• Despite everything, this is still my comfort series and I think it’s because it was a big part of my life in my slightly more formative years and I related a lot to some shit lmao

Thoughts on KOTLC

• The Vackers aren’t white

• Fitz’s character development ?? Where you at??

• Biana is not straight

• Sophie 👏 forgives 👏 Keefe 👏 immediately 👏 no matter what 👏 and it 👏 can’t 👏 be 👏 healthy
