Ohhhh these are all lovely and completely something she'd wear! The bracelets may not match the outfit, but they definitely match Miyuki's personality and that's important! She has several friends associated with several more colors, and these bracelets have many of those colors associated with her friends! The bracelets work! at first it was fine, they would come home with a few scrapes and bruises, but nothing you couldn't kiss better or place some ice on

then over the years, the villains/their rival got more violent, and scrapes became deep cuts and bruises fractured bones

maybe you silently accepted this, or maybe you agrued about it, but either way they tried to continue to persist at first. they had a duty after all, to protect the innocent, to keep evil at bay, their body was small sacrifice to pay in order to safeguard others

then your "come home safe" one day became a defeated "come home alive" and something inside of them finally shifted

maybe they made the change slowly, picking up sidekicks and comrades to one day take their burden. slowly easing into the shadows until they simply are no longer needed

maybe they decided your happiness is worth more then any villain and drop the weight of being a savior all at once, not caring if all their heroism is now for naught, not caring who they're dooming by doing such

maybe they bring you flowers and take you to dinner when they tell you that they are retiring. maybe it's a private moment alone. either way the relief in your eyes and the way you whole body just untenses reaffirms to them that they made the right choice

it's a small price to pay when it keeps you happy

Ahh, I'm not going on a christmas date, as nice as that sounds... maybe another year when I manage to plan a bit more before the day, since it does sound really sweet! I never really follow the kiss rule with mistletoe, though, I like being able to avoid kisses if I'm not comfy with them that day.
