Given her genuine HATE for tight clothes, she would definitely love tech/streetwear fashion for roaming on Earth ! Trying to figure out which color matches her...

In the same time, I'm searching few ideas for polar outfits, when she goes on Andoria with Tysess.

Have a rough render of teen/adult Haza in her Starfleet student's uniform ! I have to admit that I hate drawing this outfit. And she probably hate wearing it (Shig's don't like clothes, even more if it's tight).

We can't count the times she "forgot" it, either because the neighbor's dog ate it or because of whatever-fucked-up reason she can made up. Fortunately, Tysess is always here to bring her outfit and almost force her to put it on in front of everyone...

Haza have the typical tint of a female of her kind. Which can vary from light grey to greyish brown with slightly darker stripes. While males are clearly darker in color, usually shades of grayish purple and black stripes.

Also, female don't have prominent breast. That's a feature they get if they have a progeny to feed. This particularity is mostly due to their place on their home planet food chain : Shigwaïs are the prey of bigger predators. Their bodies have to remain aerodynamic so they can run faster in case of danger.

The ribcage is long and deep, as they have elongated lungs and voluminous heart.

Haza has been deprived of her venomous stingers (thanks God). On an healthy Shig, they would slightly protrude along the back, tail and forearms. In males, the stingers are longer at the thoracic vertebrae and can be considered an hypertelia.

And yes, Tysess actually do her hair and he can't manage it. He basically make her the typical Andorian haircut...

another inherently funny part of star trek is the very first show establishes a magic machine that sparklezaps them out of uncomfortable situations so for the next 56 years writers have to keep coming up with reasons why it won't work this time

Tysess headcanons

(mentioned some or referenced some in my story, but still gonna keep them here)

I answered a question lately, in this post and got some more ideas, so I wrote some more and elaborated on some of them.

He's a soft lover:

 I'm sorry, but he is. As stubborn and stoic and stern he can be and has quick tempered he definetly will be, he melts around his s/o and will do anything for them. Anything. Either in the andorian way, or any other way, whatever is more comfortable for them.

 However duty is duty and duty comes first. He struggles a bit at first but he'll get the hang of it

On duty he tries to treat them as he does with everybody else, though there are those small subtle things like brief touch against the small of their back or fingers brushing against each other or just the smallest flick of his antennae…. You know what I mean

He is sometimes a bit hotheaded though he tries to keep it at bay, however he would never slash out on hi s/o. If he ever would, he would apologise profoundly and would feel guilty for weeks

He’s also a bit traditional. Not in the sense that he would enforce gender roles on his s/o, however he would do the classical things like, holding the door open, pay (if it’s a planet where he can) fort he fodd, ask for parents‘ permission for hand in marriage etc. etc.

(Though he would definetely declare ushaan if somebody, especially an andorian, disrespects his s/o. And he'll win)

Tysess trained himself to keep his antennae mostly still, because 1) it does confuse his coworkers and 2) he doesn’t like others knowing directly how he feels

He enjoys cooking:

He may not be a chef but cooking gives him the relaxation he needs after an exhausting day. And it's really good, like, Pike-level good.

In a relationship he would mostly likely be the one to cook. However, offer to cook with him and his heart is basically yours

In Starfleet academy he managed to somehow make a wonderful and mean meal from those tiny, weak student kitchens. Nobody knows why. However his entire floor tried to stay in his good grades

Speaking of Starfleet:

He prefered to keep to himself. He’s a bit of an introvert and is very good at pushing people away. Yet, as soon as you managed to befriend him, that man would die for you. Literally.

Like Picard for example was in the Science division before he switched to commando, I like to believe that Tysess was a security officer. I made a post about his stance in one frame and that just confirmed this with me. Along with another aspect, I’m gonna adress below. 

Tysess struggled to connect to his fellow students, especially since he was one oft he few andorians in the fleet. He made some friends, however that’s just mostly because they were stubborn and decided to befriend that grumpy, blue man

Tysess is a really good singer. If he hadn't joined Starfleet you maybe would've been able to see him on the andorian Broadway.

He was part oft he andorian military[or at least the equivalent o fit]:

I don’t know how military/ task force etc. works on Andoria, that’s not my expertise

However I’d like tot hink that he comes from a family that’s been working in the „army“ for generations.

Tysess knew, that both his sister and his brother did not want to be there, so he kind of sacrificed himself top lease his family. After he few years he realised however that he really didn’t like this life for himself, and, after getting his family’s support, he joined Starfleet

Still, those years left some marks on him (physically and psychologically)

He has a weird enemies-to-friends relationship with Noum. They don’t like each other at all (which is partly due tot he andorian/tellarite relationships) however if there’s gossip, those two bicker faster than you can say „Engage“

He's on the ace spectrum:

Though I depicted him more as sex-repulsed asexual in my story „Body Language“, I more likely headcanon him different. This just fit the story better

I think, Tysess is a demisexual, with a very low libido and sex drive, maybe mixed with a bit of graysexual?

Like, he only is capable to expirience sexual attraction towards people he has a close emotional connection to, but even then it’s rarely

He is not on the arospec, yet it is still difficult for him to fall in love. Mostly because of personal issues

He was a crew member of the Voyager when she got lost

Hemmer sometimes helps in the arboretum in the science division. He loves flora and was really excited when coming to other planets and finding new, not dangerous, flora. (There was this one accident where one of his new plants tried to eat Spock, but that's not important right now....)

Uhura forced him to come to Karaoke night one time. He killed it, maybe a bit off, but he killed it. There are rumours, that even Spock smiled.

He's got a little niece that he loves more than everything in this galaxy. And while having three siblings, he is her favourite uncle.

He's got tattoos, that you not only can see, but feel. I also wrote something for that scenario. Thanks again for that one @nichestartrekkie0-0

Odo:

He secretely loves children. Yes, he's grumpy and really awkward, but he really loves those weird little beings, that are definetly not capable of living alone at the moment. He just can't say no to them. He may pretend at first, however in the end, the'll always get him around. There is a group of kids on Ds9 that has spends an hour a week playing hide and seek with him. He never misses it.

He really enjoys Jazz. He doesn't know why, but he does. Odo once thought about learning Saxophone, but decided against it. (Though it was tempting, because it would definetely piss Quark off)

When he's stressed he turns on some sorft of Techno music or music with a heavy beat and lays down on the music box to feel the vibrations

Though he presents himself as male/ prefers to be addressed as he/him, he does not care if he's addressed as they/them or she/her. Gender is a weird thing.

When he was solid, he expirienced heavy body disphoria. Not only because of his gender though, but also because he was not used of being stuck in one form

The weirdly life affirming thing about fandom and some of the adoration that comes with it, particularly as pertains to real people, is that fans will love all the parts of you. That what is deemed ‘marketable’ by the press release and everything else they left out. If you come from something, fans will keep it alive. A Sam Fender fan away in Nebraska, USA will learn the Geordie dialect to accurately write Sam Fender x reader fanfic. They will keep alive a dialect declining even in Newcastle. As long as someone knows it, it lives on. The more people into it, the more beloved it becomes; it has a resurgence, it carries on. A Kneecap fan in Indonesia whose third language is English decides Irish Gaeilge can be their fourth. The Eurovision fans decided they can learn all of Finnish after being drawn to one song about piña coladas (and the super endearing Käärijä!)

Fandom is so much more than some base lowly shit to be embarrassed about that people like to reduce it to. It’s a powerful mode of culture. It’s so much more than about writing ‘your silly little stories about your pathetic men’; fandom is the reason American Blur fans flew thousands of miles overseas to be at Wembley last summer. Fandom is checking your IG stories after that gig and seeing that other well-loved musicians also have the same story as you because they were at that gig too. It is months later hearing Grian Chatten from Fontaines D.C. say that part of their new song was inspired by going to that Wembley show, and knowing exactly what he meant by that.

It is about shared cultural moments, it’s about the realisation that nothing is ever strictly in the past, and that we are sharing and creating culture in the now. I don’t know where I’m going with this, I was just struck by the connection between culture and pop culture. Don’t let people tell you they’re different worlds, I suppose
