Unleash the Best is a two stage competition and features both recorded videos and live performances.
Stage 1
Unleash the Best @ ONLINE - a 12 week online music video competition.
Stage 2
Unleash the Best @ LIVE WEEKEND - a weekend at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival; performances, workshops and the final battle for the Unleash the Best TITLE at the amazing Iwaki Auditorium in Southbank.
The competition is open to five broad categories:
Big Bands - Stage bands, jazz ensembles
Small Jazz Groups - Small groups inspired by jazz
World Music – World and folk music
Rock n Pop - Indie or commercial
Electric Beats - Remix, samples, loops, beats
