I almost want to make the pantheon in bg3... v and lore.

idk how I feel about hulaimh. I decided to go with a high elf bard. appearance-wise... she has incredibly fair, long hair that she keeps in braids with decorative beads and the only thing really like that is jaheiras hair so I did my best. it's kinda a mess but it works for now. also couldn't find a face I liked, even with all my preset mods. most presets are so... baby faced ? soft ? and hulaimh has a sharper, more angular face. noble, if you will. outfit coming soon.

thinking about lore for hulaimh in BG3 and it may be a bit presumptuous, but... goddess / patron of the forgotten ? I just know what little I read about the second sundering but she most likely fell out of worship / power afterwards, having already had a very minor realm of influence. in essence she also kinda forgot who she was, so she has just been wandering around faerun.

I kinda vibe with the idea of her being a bard, going around singing songs that no one has ever heard about people forgotten to time, songs she doesn't remember how she learned. being gentle and kind but also capable. helping people remember things that they have forgotten. helping people feel seen, remembered.

also I feel like I should say (and this does into my own lore for shar, fight me) the domain of loss and the domain of the forgotten are not the same thing. shar is about a total loss, a total absence, whereas hulaimh holds what is forgotten until it is ready to be remembered. so, if you want to get persnickety, she could be at odds with shar for this ? but if shar has an issue, hulaimh does not. hulaimh would also never meddle in the affairs of shar unless a follower of shar sought her out. in this way, she would not interfere with shadowheart unless shadowheart wanted help.

its my personal headcanon that no one actually processes the fact that frae is blind until at least after the grove party like. he's just so well adjusted to things like travel and interaction (and even combat) that its easy to overlook the telling details in his behavior that he, actually, cannot see. at some point the companions are just like wait one second and have to go to him for confirmation.

frae, feigning indignation when someone approaches him just like "of course I'm bloody blind ! why would I lie about a thing like that ? I guess I just fumble around for the hells of it !" and then makes a point of exaggerating his blindness in camp the next few nights just to milk it and make fun of everyone (good naturedly, ofc. he thinks its hilarious)

I may give him a couple levels in warlock for story reasons - I'm thinking his patron has granted him blindsight, and thats how hes been able to function as well as he has.

to remain in essence of her original lore, zhu dai knows something, some ancient lore I have to decide on and may remain ambiguous due to my general lack of knowledge of DnD lore... anyway. she knows this thing and this has made her both enemies in the sense she is being hunted down, and also actively being thwarted in her own efforts to find her enemies. she has been imprisoned, banished to other planes, and generally gone through hell to keep her from using this knowledge against her enemies.

in regards to her race... I haven't decided yet. I'm doing research into fiends as well as aasimar. she could also be djinni or efreeti ? since that would be approximate to her original lore. however the forgotten realms lore for both are kinda... I don't vibe, let's just say that.

she would know mizora, raphael, and zariel. having crossed paths with all of them, whether due to her time in avernus or because they are somehow involved with the circle of individuals zhu is hunting down.

my current concept is some kind of conspiracy ? but again, not familiar with DnD lore enough :c

yew so far. still don't know what race :/ thinking about aasimar but idk. I'm also just like... she's associated with the moon in her own lore, but selune isn't the same vibe ? right now I'm thinking umberlee, since she is associated with the ocean, but again I'm not sure. idk like. I'm kinda vibing with the concept of her being aasimar or solar, wielding a trident, flying above her ship, diving into the waves, transforming into various sea creatures. like. that's very badass to me, idk. obviously not something I can implement in-game, so I might just have to settle for deciding on her appearance and then winging it from there.
