USWNT 30 Days Challenge - Day 4: Favourite Team Photo Not really photos, but GIFS (I have posted some of them before). I’ve chosen these 3 because I believe they really show what I love most about this team: unity, sisterhood, ideology, fight for the good cause. Watching them “at the center of the world”, in Time Square, with all the huge screens dedicated to them, is almost poetic, it’s the attention they deserve, they really are America’s Team! I’m in love then with that photoshoot they did at camp, they all are so close, so confident, they literally shine and it’s like a moment where time is frozen, to me, those 23 best friends have written their names in this sport’s history and it seems like a memory that will last forever. And in the end, there’s the fight, the protest, the statement: they will not accept anymore to be treated like they are less just because they are women.

This is what this team stands for, this is their legacy. They’re changing their world and doing it so, they’re creating a new reality for the next generation. OOSA OOSA OOSA!
