all cars should come with the la cucaracha horn by default. i think it would make traffic and road rage at least 40% more interesting

been bedridden sick for the past week but the upside is it’s gotten me going on my fourth full rewatch of halt and catch fire and god. i’m sorry to every other show i’ve ever seen but this really is the best show i’ve ever seen. i always tell people when im talking about it that yes it’s about the tech industry and there’s some terms and such you won’t understand but really they could be in fashion? construction? beekeeping! it wouldn’t matter! because at its core it’s an intimately human story about some incredibly lonely people looking for ways to connect with one another and wanting to build meaningful things together (“i want to build something that makes people fall in love”) to help others also feel less alone. and if what they’re building fails? they’re gonna pick themselves up from the ashes and try and try and try again because that’s what humans do and almost all of their mistakes come from trusting too hard or loving too much and that’s so flawed and beautiful and human! and at the end of it they were still made better from loving those people even if they screwed them over! it’s a show full of hope, about what happens when you let love and community into your life and how you’re never fully alone. its got its dark, bleak moments but…at its core it’s bursting with joy.

it bugs me how many lesbians have issues with trans women. like, we're supposed to love women. what's next, you gonna start hating short people too? fuck off.

do you have those people that you’d go anywhere with unconditionally, like they could say “lets go check out that dumpster” and you’d be like “im in”
