Logging back onto Tumblr after three years is crazy. On one hand, everything is the same, but on the other hand, it's completely different.

The early 2000′s were the good times, y’know? Biking out until the evening without care, blasting One Direction, rushing home to watch cartoons or the latest show on Nickelodeon.
Now I’m in high school and everything is just so... different. It’s just a constant crippling weight knowing that you don’t feel good enough. Life isn’t carefree as it was, and it really makes me sad. There are so many terrible things going on, and while there were terrible things before, I guess you could really say ignorance is a blessing.

I am successful and I don’t cry myself to sleep every night.
Write the most self-indulgent piece of fiction ever. Make a self-insert and go buckwild. Have fun, don’t worry about tropes or being a Mary Sue. Take all your fantasies and make them come true. I cannot emphasise enough how fun it is. You don’t even have to publish it, just do it. Go. Nuts.

I’m gonna say it I think deep sea animals are beautiful and incredible and very neat and I know that’s not an unpopular thought like many many people agree but I don’t at all hold the sentiment that they are terrifying and grotesque and anything else like that.
The popular jokes like “we need to leave whatever is in the ocean down there I’ll take my chances in space” are funny I love those jokes but truly
When I see a photo of one of the more supposedly horrifying fish from the deep I am mystified I am filled with wonder and even adoration an that’s all
idk they are just truly amazing.
They go down…..so deep…..they just live down there…with all of their teeth. They don’t have a care for or a thought for us or anything else up here. They’re just down there glowing and swimming and eating.
Amazing.
They’re not scary they’re just so vastly different and their existences are so vastly different from anything we can comprehend. I can’t fathom what life would be like down there.
I love them. They are animals, same as anything else. Not scary. Just incredible.

Have some respect.
I know none of you asked for my opinion but I’m so pissed off by the way some of you are handling this hole thing.
First of all, this is going to be kind of a long post so if you’re not down for it, just skip it.
And second, I’m not an Ariana’s fan. Don’t misunderstand me, I like some of her songs but I’m just not a fan.
Ok. As many of you heard (and if you don’t, that I highly doubt) there’s been an accident at Ariana Grande’s concert at Manchester Arena. In the mentioned accident, a not-human-being made himself explode in a place full of young people, taking with him at least 22 persons, left 59 hurt and many missing.
Now, I have been in a concert just once in my life, and it was the best feeling in the world. I’ve never felt so happy by the fact that I lost my voice due my uncontrollable screams. I cried and laughed so hard. And if you have been at a concert you know for sure what I’m talking about.
Imagine you are leaving the place in where you just saw your favorite artist perform. Feeling great, isn’t it? Now try to imagine how people at that concert felt when everyone started screaming and running for their lives. Imagine be there with your little daughter and not be able to find her, imagine see you friend covered in blood lying on the floor, imagine be waiting outside for your daughter/son and suddenly heard an explosion… How would you feel? It is just horrible. I can only imagine the fear everyone in there may felt and I don’t wish it for anyone.
I’m so sorry for every single person that was at the concert (including Ariana). I’m so sorry that the day that was supposed to be one of your happiest turned out this way, I’m so sorry for all the parents who lost a child and I’m so sorry for Ariana, who was doing what she loves.
And that’s why I am so mad. The only one that should be blamed is the “man” that caused this hole thing. I cannot believe someone trying to kill as many people as he can, it’s just senseless. You should be very damaged to go at a place full of innocent people just to hurt them.
And you should be very damaged if you are celebrating the death of 22 people who were just trying to enjoy a concert and also if you are making jokes out of this. THIS IS NOT FUNNY, there are parents that would never see their kids again, there are people in a hospital trying to recover, there are people still missing. Where is the joke?
And for those who are saying that Ariana overreacted by cancel her concerts, stop it, seriously, stop it. The poor girl maybe is feeling guilty af, her fans died at her concert and she couldn’t do anything. You want your money back? Well, there are families who want their loved ones to go home and that would never be possible.
Stop blaming those who are innocents and stop making jokes. Have some respect.

I am UK resident, as some of you know by now and I was as shocked by the Manchester attack as many others were, but I am ashamed and appalled by comments I am seeing in the newspapers, media and comments on YouTube videos.
Comments like:
“This is what happens when your music taste is terrible.” - For one, this is hateful, this attack could have happened anytime, it’s like the daily mail blaming in on Ariana Grande’s appearance. Second, victims were children, we went out to see their favourite singer perform, it’s nothing to do with your views on Ariana.
“Why are we still letting Muslims into this country?” Because ISIS aren’t Muslims, people who let off bombs, people who even dare to touch someone, is not a Muslim, in the Islamic religion, harming someone is a offence, you aren’t even allowed to lay your hand on someone else. ISIS aren’t not Muslims, they just claimed the name of a peaceful religion and are trying to turn people against innocent people, who are against these attacks aswell. Not all Christians are the KKK, are they?
“Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims.” What about Wade Micheal described as a American white supremacist, who killed seven Sikhs after taking a gun into their place of worship. Or Jim David Adkisson, who killed two and injured a further six, who was lead by his hatred of Democrats, liberals, African Americans and homosexuals. Or Timothy James McVeigh and Terry Lynn Nichols who bombed Oklahoma City, killing over 100 people. Terrorists can be religious, not religious, any gender, any race. Media stereotypes them as Muslims and this is wrong. We have to remember that ISIS sometimes claim things that they have nothing to do with, because they want people to be afraid.
Terrorism is becoming a growing threat and fear for not only the UK, but the whole world too. My friends are all debating if they want to bring children into this world. The media are trying to force parents into not taking their kids to gigs, theme parks or out past a certain time a night, they are spiking fear in the hearts of many and if we live like that, they they’ve won, they’ve got what they want.
Instead of turning the blame on people who didn’t do this, we should stand together and not comment before thinking.
