I’m tired of playing this game. Tired of being so depressed all the time. Tired of telling people I’m okay when I’m actually not.. I’m just tired of everything.

“is this the end?”

Lately my mood swings are all over the place. lol

(I wrote a whole note about my thought process for this drawing,and accidentally deleted it..)

When I’m making an original painting, I usually have a bit dark and graphic thoughts in the back of my mind..That was the case also for this sketch..I wanted to portray the thoughts that are troubling me.. At first this piece was a completely different and messy place…Buildings in the background, a slightly different sky..Then I took off the background buildings and started making more changes..At some point I sketched red flaming dots as if they were stars falling from the sky..Ok.. I wasn’t really thinking that they were stars,but you get the picture.. Then I took them off, and decided to add these red/orange colors in the sky, tiny stars and a crescent moon..Through this whole process the only thing I haven’t changed is the title…The final result looks kinda peaceful, isn’t it?

This whole process made me thinking “is this how the end’s going to be..?” Peaceful, silent places.. The whole world keeps ruling and deciding,making mistakes, without asking other forms of life for their opinion, we keep avoiding the truth and the lies, keep living in our comfort zones,while others are having a different reality from ours.. What we see is not always what it seems to be.It can be just a layer and a small part of a bigger picture..This neighborhood might be a place somewhere close or far away from our hometowns..And it might be a silent place in the middle of a story, before,after and even during all the upside-downs.. This neighborhood might be a nice and happy place, but at the same time, it might be a small cover, perhaps a shot from a movie, before the director had decided to give the signal to his crew to zoom-in and show us the chaos that is taking place behind it.. I have more thoughts,but i’m gonna end it here..
