not to be a bitter old bitch but Heather Collins needs more attention and it's not like totally shocking to me a lot of the white characters on the Pitt get way more love than her

Dr. Heather Collins head canon
A classically trained pianist, she performed in high school concerts and even had Robby take a day trip with her to check out a baby grand in Philly, but she ended up getting a silent piano instead. She plays every day and often brings her keyboard along on travels.
Heather volunteers at the Allegheny Community Garden.
Before transitioning from finance to medicine, Heather consulted with top doctors at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, doctors at clinics in the Bronx and Harlem, as well as her childhood pediatrician.
She doesn’t listen to podcasts. She indulges in audiobooks through Libby, listening while cooking, painting, and out on a run.
She reads A Christmas Carol every single holiday season.
Her favorite Shakespearean play is Much Ado About Nothing, and her least favorite is Romeo & Juliet.
#I LOVE IT#she's just so endlessly fascinating tracy needs to fire her agent there's no reason heather shouldn't have been in every episode#and i won't hear otherwise#heather collins#the pitt headcanons

The rise of anti-intellectualism has been crazy to witness especially bc people aren’t putting the pieces together. Like more and more I’m seeing average every day people saying things like an education and even literacy are not necessary to earn a living. Meanwhile those in power are absolutely sending their children to the best schools and ensuring that they will receive accredited degrees. The people who hold economic, legal and social power are educated; why would you want to lock yourself out of being able to participate in those spaces? If knowledge was so useless, why do those in power not want you have it while they hoard it for themselves and their children?

every time I see people taking cast/showrunner interviews as gospel and then inevitably being disappointed or even outraged when it turns out they were being misleading/vague for the sake of promo, this runs through my mind

Javadi: I don’t understand, I thought stay-at-home mom was the politically correct term?
McKay: Yeah, but you said “stay at home, Mom,” and you were talking to your mom.
