The Art of Jenny Yu
Jenny Yu is a designer and environment concept artist from Los Angeles, CA. She works for editorial, advertising, books, graphic novels, and entertainment arts.
Lighting, color, and shape are important aspects of my work. Being able to create magic in a single frame of an image through the cohesion of reality and fantasy is something I always want to try to convey. Life often becomes routine and tiring for us, so I want to remind myself and others that there is always magic even in the trivial drills of everyday life.

3. Long-horned bees after rain
4. Sandhill cranes at Whitewater Draw

Thanks to Thierry and Jules from ms excuse me for taking on the top five this year, and happy new year everyone.

Artist: Armelle Blary
Lives and works in Reims, France.
Her personal universe grows within the human, animals, plants spheres which intersect and merge into a poetics approach of the interrelation and of the becoming. Nourished by literature, Armelle Blary links also her art to ancient myths: She finds inspirations on stories of metamorphosis to create new shapes that embrace equally the living and the dead. This poetic pretext becomes her favorite reflection on desire, death, love and faith.
