Easy Tips to Uplift any Outfit with Affordable Jewelry
on December 07, 2021

To accessorize? How much? What kind of jewelry?
Who hasn't asked these questions? Accessories are critical for tying your outfit together.
Bleak outfits will pop with an agate statement necklace or add a touch of simplicity with vintage chandelier earrings. Be creative and step out of your comfort zone to let the world see you.

Choose jewelry from the color of your outfit.
What does that mean? There are two types of colors based on tone warm and cool colors. Fashion pivots around these colors.
Warm Colors
The colors are bold and very bright in the eyes. Red, Orange, Yellow, and Yellow/green, and those in that color spectrum are warm colors.

Cool Colors
Cool colors are more on the lighter, pastel side of the colors. They are calming to the eyes. Green, Blue, Purple, and those in that color spectrum are cool colors.
Gold and Silver fall within the warm and cool colors. Gold jewelry looks complimentary against warm-colored clothes, including the lovely rose gold. Silver elevates cool-colored clothes.

Make sure your outfit and jewelry match the occasion
You want to bring the right look to the right occasion.
Matching Metal tones - Gold earrings, necklace, and bracelet
More is not always better. Don't take away from your outfit. Instead of layered necklaces, try a single statement necklace
Are you wearing the same jewelry every day?
It's so easy to get into the habit of just grabbing some jewelry and throwing it on as we go out the door. STOP, just for a minute, and change things up! Get out of that comfort zone.
When was the last time you cleaned your jewelry?
No matter what you are wearing, make sure your jewelry is clean. Dirty jewelry always shows.

What color tone suits my skin tone?
With so many jewelry choices, it can be overwhelming. Cool skin tones look towards white gold, platinum, and silver-toned jewelry.
Warm skin tones entertain gold, rose gold, copper, and even brass jewelry. Neutral skin tones splash variety in their collection by mixing warm and cool jewelry tones.

Jewelry based on your neckline
Necklaces are an outfit's best friend and enemy. A necklace can complete or destroy all your hard work. A favorite way of choosing which necklace to wear is based on your top's neckline.
Low Necklines trend well with drop and layered necklaces
Tube Top Necklines crave chokers! Pairing these two together will level up any outfit.
High and closed necklines need a statement made. You got it! Statement necklaces with a bold pendant have found their time to shine. Plain outfits become bold.

Be Yourself!
With all the tips and hacks for fashion, the most important is to be you! Let your style and personality shine!

Drab to Fab with Upcycle Engraving The Story Of Pipe Threader Lamp Has Just Gone Viral! on December 15, 2021 Threader Lamp starts here. 📷When we go picking, coming across unusual items can happen often. There are so many curiosities in the world. A pipe threader from an estate sale, clean up, was such an item. Standing out certainly, but what to do with it?📷 📷Certainly planning out pieces to make, we look at the size, weight, and possible shipping. A pipe threader was a no in every category, but oh man, was it captivating. 📷 Once home, my husband went straight to cleaning and preserving this immense chunk of metal. Cleaned and polished the character of the piece shows. The detailed stampings and engravings were able to be saved. YAY! However, what do we do with it?📷My husband played with many ideas, from a hat stand, coat rack, vintage mantlepiece, or possible door lock. Then one morning, my husband pops his head out of his shop and announced, "I think it will be a lamp." Well, okay! That's a great idea. How? Creativity leaping into action, my husband went to work. Starting with an antique table from an estate clean-up, in need of a little love. Scoring a shade for the lamp from a goodwill spree. Along with the guts (parts) needed for the lighting, bringing it all together.📷 Carefully affixing and securing the pipe threader was essential due to the weight and height of the pipe threader. Hiding the cord for the light by drilling a small hole at the back and sliding the cord through. No ugly cord. Success! In the last step, affix the light securely to the top of the pipe threader to prevent any tilt or leaning of the light (lamp). Pulling everything together and after adding the final touches, my husband presented me with this stunning lamp.📷 Mixing industrial, antique, and warmth gave me the sweetest feeling of nostalgia. Classy, yet remaining strong and inviting, saying, "come read your favorite book under me." So, I did; for quality control testing only. Yeah, that's it. Quality Control Testing, that's me. *Wink*📷 After all the testing was finalized it was time to sell the lamp. What a great response we had from so many people. Loving the design, creativity, and look. A gentleman and his wife were just stopped in their tracks and couldn't help but come back three times to look and admire this lamp. On his final lap around the lamp, the gentleman confidently told his wife that the lamp is going home with us, and it did. Smiling, I knew the lamp had found a good home. When we see a customer smile or make a connection to a piece we've made, nothing beats that feeling. Comments Popular Posts 📷 What Are Coasters For & Why Do We Need Them on Tables?
